My wife is Japanese, I've been to Japan 21 times, and even my 4 year old daughter has been there 5 times! The sushi rolls were very good. As usual, the seaweed was too soft to be good, authentic sushi. However, by sushi roll standards, the rolls were excellent. Service needs work. We were served quickly and politely, but their attitudes were very cold.

There were two servers running around, but they were cheerful and funny, and very helpful. I grabbed several plates, and everything I had was fresh and tasty- AND- QUALITY. There are seats right next to the belt, but there are some tables as well, if you want a more normal dining experience. When you are done, they count up your plates, and then you pay at the register- I was amazed at just how cheap my meal was! I will happily come back here again!

The salmon and all the sashimi is so fresh. The unagi... omg... melts on your tongue. The best I think I've had yet. It's soooo easy to rack up a huge bill here, everything is so good! The mandarin jelly is soooo refreshing and delicious for afters. Can also recommend the mochi! Just love it. My best tip is to sit in the seat furthest from the front door so you get first choice of the freshest served sushi as it comes around. I'm worried about sharing my tip because then I'm afraid everyone will do it and steal my favourites from the sushi train before they get to me. The shop uses chemical free La Ionica Poultry and serves chickens, chips, salads, roast potatoes and all of the usual sort of things you will find in a chicken shop. Other than the fact that the chips are particularly good, the rest of the food is simply good ordinary takeaway that you will find at any good chicken shop. What makes the shop particularly appealing though are the very friendly and helpful staff who will go out of their way to help customers, even though some of find English difficult. I have 2 young children and they usually tear around the shop getting into everything but the staff are particularly tolerant of them even when they try to take all of the straws and plastic cutlery. A staff member even brought our chips out to the car once when it was difficult for me to take the kids in. Inside the shop there is a television and numerous daily newspapers, giving customers something to do while waiting for their chicken and chips. A good, old style chicken shop!
