Though they advertise as a place that offers month to month business, my husband and I were offering them a guaranteed month to month business for a good bit of time while working in the area, however long they would work with us on, bouncing to another place if we exceeded their desired amount of time, and both people we spoke with - a woman one day and a man named Justin another, were very rude and "uppity/snooty". We have a 2023 Primetime Sanibel Widebody 5th wheel, 43 feet in length, very nice condition, and are two professional people (my husband an Operations Manager for a billboard company and I a Bid/Dept Manager for a Food Distributor, with a combined income of over $175k per year) and their response was "we wouldn't be a good fit" after we spoke with them guaranteeing we would abide by their strict rules. When we mentioned we may once in a blue moon babysit our grandkids while there, before I even finished my sentence, we were given a very terse response which was a strong indicator they do not want kids there. Obviously not family friendly. They mentioned not wanting "trashy trailers" and "trailer trash" type people in their campground - of which we aren't, but wow, the judgement - and that they currently have some campers they are "trying to be rid of", so camp with ease or expect to be thrown out. They want only new campers there, and royalty. I guess if you take a stab at them you'll have to see if you meet their high standards or contrarily meet their definition of "trailer trash". Beware, if your camper, though well maintianed yet only a 2021 model, you're trailer trash. Again, very picky, very high standards, strict rules, unbending, uppity, and just rude with a "holier than though" attitude. Apparently not very interested in keeping their business running either. We drove through the park on 4/20/26 and over half their campsites were empty. I wonder why. Yet, they turn down guaranteed month to month business for a time we were willing to allow them to designate. We will gladly take our business elsewhere to a much friendlier staff at a nicer, more secure campground nearby we have recently learned of - where we won't have to listen to trains pass behind us all day, and can watch kids be kids and play. Sad thing is, we've given them our business before while in Columbus, but never will again, and will tell all we know of a large group of campers we are affiliated with of their rude, snooty ways. Traveling through the area? I'd recommend staying elsewhere. Corps of Engineer parks on nearby West Point Lake (Amity, Shaefer Hard, Holiday, and WhiteTail Ridge), a campground on nearby Lake Harding (Blanton Creek), two near Fort Benning (one GA side - Camp David, the other AL side), one in Fort Benning (Uchee Creek), a KOA in nearby Americus, Ga and Auburn RV Resort in nearby Auburn, AL to name just a few. That is, unless you like to hobknob with the snooty folk.

The park is quite clean, bushes are kept trimmed. Sites are extra wide and this year, we noticed new gravel has been added. Nice & level. The geese occupy the pond and they are fun to watch. There is a great, large dog run for pets. There is sooooo much to do nearby for tourism. Conveniently, . AW Shucks Oyster Bar is located within walking distant from our campsite. Casey, was working again this time. She is such a delightful young lady. We ordered beers and lunch. Cudo's to the Chef~ the Camp Stew with Hush Puppies is the BEST lunch !! We found Mike to be pretty flexible, he said we could arrive early at 10:00 but this time we pulled in at 11:30. He escorted us to our spot right away. Had an issue with the 50 amp electric, but Mike came right out and fixed it. Everything worked fine for our 3 day stay. They do close for lunch between 12:00-1:00, and the front office closes at 5:00... so keep that in mind with your travel times for arrival. If our travels take us North through Montgomery, AL next year...... we will stay here again !!

The first season we stayed, it went pretty well but this was also while it was cold outdoors, rainy and we were running on our own propane supply. This summer, however, we ultimately decided to uproot and find another park. Now, I will say Gigi and Don are nice enough people and they do try to keep their park up. We don't have any complaints about the grounds itself. Or the patrons. However, it stands to reason that the upper part of park is going to require more power usage from patrons because it has no shade at all. Our RV is metal, not wood. Before it had even reached the 80s, we were already getting complaints about the amount of power we were using to keep our RV cool (with the AC set in the 80s). Even though we were paying every penny of the "extra" electricity. I eventually had the electrical system checked out, as they had suggested, and found that, as you'd expect, putting a metal RV in the baking Alabama sun is going to result in a hot metal RV. By the 2nd month, we were over it and decided to move parks. We're now in Wetumpka, right on the lake, rent is under $500 a month and we're not paying for electricity separately. Additionally, this campground and the groundskeep aren't causing us undue anxiety simply because we're trying to survive the summer. So, this is where we're going to be staying from now on when we're in the area. I suggest others consider looking just outside of Prattville for a better deal and more consideration.

Just walk carefully as the floor does get slippery when wet. I took an old towel to throw down. There are no trees, but there is lots of grass and small ponds. There are two dog areas (large and small dogs) with agility courses. And then there's a dog wash area. This is a quiet campground. No permanents or seasonal folks. No street noise. Just birds and quiet. But here's the deal; the GPS coordinates take you on a roundabout odd way. And I had read that on another review. So, I called the campground and Shannon said to stay on 231. We did and we went right to the entrance, which is part of Magnolia Creek. It's about 7 miles from the Florida/Georgia line. (Just stay on 231) it's a big boulevard entrance that winds around down to the campground. Large house is the office. Again, this place is just awesome!

Big grassy field. No…read morepads, no picnic tables, minimal gravel. Small muddy lake with a large number of Canadian geese and plenty of droppings throughout the park. Previous rain left half the sites flooded and the rest soggy and muddy. On the plus side, the park is well placed from the Interstate and quiet at night. The nightly rates are quite reasonable. Probably best for an overnight stop.

This place is clean. It has community grills (Propane and charcoal). When we stayed they were brand new grills. The bathrooms are clean. The sites are tidy and pull through. The washer and dryers are just perfect!! 30 minutes for wash and dry. Prices of the park are so reasonable. The dryers you can add quarters after you start. This is a useful hint. They only do 30 minutes for a dryer and thats not enough time to get your laundry completely dry. Nice pond in the back to fish, and there is fish there. Huge community family pavilions. Games and more. I would recommend for an overnight or a few days if you would like to enjoy the background of Montgomery.
