The service was stellar, and the food was superior to anything I have had in a very long time. Chef Nick provided three menu options of his creations, including "Mango Salmon", "Chicken Marsala", and "Hoosier Hot Plate". I split the Mango Salmon and Hoosier Hot Plate (beer-battered and deep-fried custom cut pork tenderloin w/peppered gravy) with my brother, and both dishes were excellent, with the fish being very tender and juicy, the tenderloin being the best I have ever tried in the entire state of Indiana. The presentation was also very impressive! Always enjoyed it…read more I do realize that P.V. has changed ownership and management companies a couple of times in the more recent past......and so I looked forward to playing there again with two friends from out of town. Deal was good, times were good, carts were good and the ProShop people were more than adequate. Due to recent rains course was Cart path only, which was surprising since course got hit by rain 2 days before i played. Cart path only always stinks for a 70 year old, but hey, i still love to play. What WAS surprising and in a negative way was that several (like more than 1/3) saw the greens in terrible shape and in 1/2 of the cases, the teeboxes look like they hadn't been tended to in a couple of years. That part of the round was totally terrible...and disappointing candidly.
