Fueling up on snacks and food for the weekend, we stopped at this walmart supercenter. I was thrilled it was a super center so I could grab some last minute items like shorts, and other clothing items we needed. They really had almost everything we needed, the clothing was a bit sparse, but food and drink wise this walmart was set up like the walmart in omaha. The staff was friendly and efficient, we did self check out and were in and out really quick. It's only about 10 miles from the lake resorts and camp grounds. read more

It's Walmart! You either hate it or you love it, and everybody has their own opinion on it! No matter your thoughts about this place, there's a good chance you will end up here every now and then! Especially if you live in the Yankton area, there's no target, unless you want to drive an hour to Sioux City or Sioux Falls. This Walmart is like any other, it's fine, 9 out of 10 visits you will leave slightly irritated. One time I went to get to get a dozen or two donuts for something and they didn't have any because the donut maker didn't show up, and I guess nobody else knew how to make them? I'm not sure. Ive used their order online and then pick up at the store option here before, once I realized the pickup station was all the way in the back of the store it went fine. Some employees are kind, some obviously hate their job. It's usually clean and stocked pretty well. I usually leave with a ton of stuff I don't need, and forget the thing I came for. So I go back and do it all again. Basically, it's Walmart and you can't have extremely high expectations. read more
