Last week, my husband and I ordered tires from walmart.com and they arrived on Thursday. We scheduled an appointment for installation for 4 PM. Upon arriving to the service department for install, the service technician advised that our tires were not there even though we'd already received a confirmation of delivery. He stated that there was no way we could purchase eight tires for one vehicle when clearly the order displayed two separate vehicles with two separate tire sizes. We showed the service technician proof of delivery to their store, and he became combative stating that he did not see them there and we must have done something wrong. We requested to speak with the service manager and after speaking with him, they were able to began the installation. During the installation one of my vehicles suffered the cross threading of several lug nuts. When this was brought to the service manager's attention, he stated that it was already like that. When we were not accept that as a proper answer, he also became combative just like his service technician and demanded that we leave his shop. We asked for the store manager they stated he was not there. We asked for the assistant store manager, Ben Flanders stated that he was the assistance store manager and there was nothing that we could do about this because they didn't do it. His only resolution was for us to call 1-800 Walmart. We contacted 1-800 Walmart and the representative stated that we should have been able to place a complaint inside of the store. It all just seems as if no one wanted to work that day. My advice is if you ever have to get your vehicle serviced either go to your dealership or a reputable company because Walmart service department is not it. So far so good. The store is clean and well organized. Those who have complained obviously haven't been to the surrounding, crime ridden locations (Brunswick). The employees were hard at work organizing and returning items to shelves. No lie, even the transient locals were really nice. As always, Walmart Pay is questionable but the assistant at self-checkout was so sweet. She said if you turn of store wifi, the Walmart Pay is faster. We recently moved to Waycross and we are definitely pleased with our new Walmart. read more

This is just a review for the optometry department- absolutely horrible customer service - just stopped in to buy contacts and was kept waiting for over an hour- constantly being told someone would get to me. What should have been a very simple transaction turned into a extremely long nightmare. Will never use this service again!!!!! The staff seemed much more concerned with long personal calls and chit chatting rather than actually helping customers. read more

Possibly the worst Walmart I've ever been to--and that's saying something! Asked a half dozen employees a simple question and got the same response: "This isn't the area I normally work in, I don't know..." Finally found what I was looking for and decided to pick up a few groceries. No carts in grocery area. An employee with several hand baskets on a trolley came by and I asked if I could take one of the baskets. No, I have to go back to the front of the store and take one from there. In a final insult, I paid for $73 of items with a credit card and remembered I wanted some change to tip the guy washing my car down the street. I was told Walmart couldn't make change for my $20 bill. I asked then if I could use a debit card and get it. That worked but when I looked at my receipt when I got home, I was charged $3.74 to withdraw $20!!! I'll do without before darkening their door again. read more
