I was so sick, but my electric blanket stopped working, and I couldn't start my fireplace as the wood was too green. I couldn't even talk, because I'd lost my voice coughing. I bought wood, an inhaler, a new blanket, prepared salads and ham for protein. I've barely eaten in days, and it was hard labor trying to stand up. I scanned all my items at the self check out, for $133.67. It asked for my phone number and said pay zero. The register was done, and I moved along. Walmart needed to see the receipt it didn't give me, and it didn't show up on my account, so they held me prisoner trying not to vomit or soil myself, but I couldn't stop the tears from the pain on not being able to go back home to bed. Eventually the manager was able to search the charge by the amount my credit card paid Walmart, and I was allowed to leave. That's messed up. read more

The automotive department is terrible ! I called to check availability on tires , after 8 tries and voice mail I went to the store in person . The tires that the website said were available for installation had to be ordered . Then I tried to make an appointment , counter person couldn't do it . After almost 4 hours the next day , waiting since 7 am , they wouldn't install the tires because of a missing lug nut . I got some lettuce and dead flies and bugs was coming out of it. When I opened it up it ruined my salad

Garbage. One of most expensive Coffee makers they have stopped working after two uses and they would not take back because more than 90 days. Incompetent worker was rude. Place is garbage, even for a Walmart. Walmart you suck. read more

One of the better Walmarts that I've been to. The store looked clean (bathrooms included), merchandise wasn't disheveled or misplaced, employees were very friendly and helpful. It was not overly crowded when I visited on a Sunday morning. read more

This Walmart is excluding a large amount of business! Being directly off interstate 44 this Walmart would surely be getting a lot of travelers. Many of which are in large semi trucks and RVs. But they don't want the business from those patrons. They have gates that don't let any vehicle that is taller than 10 ft 9 inches into the parking lot. We go to the nearby Meramec State Park and would like to stop by and fill our RV fridge for our trip. But we will have to do that at any other Walmart that welcomes RV and semi driving customers read more

If you are hauling a camper, drive a big rig or have a tall vehicle do not attempt to enter this Walmart parking lot. They have bars across the top of the entrance driveways to keep you out! Totally un called for and will destroy anything on your roof or vehicle!! What a shame!! Bathrooms are disgusting! Keep driving! On our way out West in our 2015 Winnebago View RV. Needed quite a lot of supplies (including small appliances). To our amazement there were "height restriction gates (9'6") at each and every entrance. SHAME on you Walmart! We will continue on the road seeking a more RV friendly shopping experience! This is for the folks complaining about not being able to get there campers in the lot because of an overhead bar. Think about it. Big Walmart trucks deliver there. That entrance is in the back. There are two ways into the back parking lot of Walmart, but one is a little better than the other for large vehicles. Both will work though. read more

I have been to Walmart stores all over this country, and had positive or ambivalent reactions to all of them -- except for the store in Sullivan, MO. This has to be the worst Walmart store in the entire chain -- and I am shocked that no action has yet been taken by their corporate headquarters to look into the terrible management in place, and take steps to rectify it. This store is terribly understaffed. I rarely have a visit there, when shopping for items other than groceries, where I don't run into an issue of searching a department for any employee who can serve me, or even answer a question. There should be a MINIMUM of one department manager and one worker in every single department, at all times, during all store hours. Instead, you must search for some employee, and when you find one, they will sometimes make a call for someone to come help you, then sometimes leave, and sometimes no help is ever forthcoming! This store is a 24 hour store -- yet, they arbitrarily lock some of the entrances and exits, at varying times, forcing those unfortunate enough to park in the wrong side of the parking lot, to have to walk the entire distance of the parking lot to find which door is open. At various times when items are being restocked, the product is sometimes temporarily stacked to block aisles, and interferes with customers who are trying to shop. The rare times that ammunition is re-stocked, it is usually immediately sold out instantly, due to managers informing friends, to give an unfair advantage to be there at the right time, leaving none for the rest of us.. evidenced by those customers' own admission and bragging! At one point in the past, they had a few self-checkout lanes, which were a nuisance, and everyone knew it was easy to steal product this way -- so it only made sense when they finally got rid of them... but for some insane reason, they have brought some of these lanes back, and once again, they often do not work right, and are still a huge port of easy theft -- costs which will come back to affect both shoppers and employees (but probably not top management who fail to stop it). In spite of being self-checkout, they still require the allotment of store employees for them -- workers who would be able to check out more people, quicker, than the individuals they try to oversee. Do not get me wrong, the average employees in this store are terrific and helpful and friendly, but most levels of management need to be seriously considered and replaced. I often see and hear managers berating workers, right in front of customers, and often for things which make no sense. I have seen the people who work inside the entrances, (who greet you with a smile and are helpful in directing you to things you haven't had to search for before or answer other questions), yelled at for pulling out a difficult cart for a customer, or for getting an electric cart for a customer (after they have spent 15 minutes trying to contact management or customer service to help the customer) -- yelled at for leaving their door! When there was no one acting as this position on any other doors at that time? I have been helped by a person in one department, and then had them taken away and told to go work as a cashier -- leaving me standing there. I have seen workers who were obviously in need of leaving their post -- sometimes to use the restroom, sometimes their shift was over for a long time and had appointments elsewhere -- and they are ignored, and left to wait. And, in the event they logically take a mature action and leave, they are berated in front of customers. No one should be treated like that, and I have sent emails to the American Civil Liberties Union to ask them to look into this barbaric treatment. It seems like the older employees receive the worst treatment, and seems a probable case of age-discrimination. The management here is clearly full of idiots. Surely the workers do not schedule themselves, so if someone else is needed to replace someone, then they should be scheduled, and if they are not available, then a manager needs to step in and take their place and earn their money. I even had a situation when trying to send money via their money center, and no one being present. I went to customer service and the person said they were supposed to staff both the money center and customer service. So, they followed me over and helped me... and then the others who were also waiting. When I left, I passed customer service, and there were people waiting there. I warned them not to wait, but to try the money center, or walk the store screaming for a manager. You occasionally hear the managers going around and warning employees that there will be a visit from headquarters, and they all run around putting on their best false face for it. Their headquarters needs to learn to conduct surprise visits and inspections, and find out just how terribly the place is running when no one is watching. read more

At all costs do not bring your car to this location. I brought my car in to get one tire put on and next thing I know on my way home my brakes go all the way to the floor and I almost wreck. There is no reason for them to have even touched my brakes. I can't believe that this is something to even be considered to happen. My brakes were perfectly fine on the trip there. It's one thing to sell a crappy product it's a whole different level when you have employees for who knows why playing with peoples brake lines and making them almost non functional. It's absurd, The level of dissatisfaction is unbearable. I came close to being in a potentially fatal car wreck because I shopped at walmart. Never again read more
