Three days before Christmas, I went to…read moreWalmart to see about trading in my phone, but, of course, they persuaded me to switch carriers for a cheaper rate. I agreed. My carrier was going to switch from Straight Talk to AT&T. It took nearly 2 hours before I finally decided I didn't want to go through with the switch. I told the Walmart employee I had changed my mind and asked if he needed anything else from me, and he said no. So I walked away. Turns out AT&T still took my number. I wasn't aware that I hadn't been receiving calls for a whole week, and I am now unable to receive texts or calls. I called AT&T, and they have declined to give me access to MY phone number because I do not have a PIN to provide. I asked to speak with their manager, but they told me that since I do not have a pin, I cannot speak with the manager. Walmart was absolutely not willing to help me retrieve my number, so my review is: do NOT get cellphone service with Walmart. They only care about their commissions if you decline to trade, it's basically F U. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED.
