On the plus side, this Walmart tolerates overnight parking in their lot for RVs. So that's a really nice thing when you're driving out to Myrtle or Wilmington and not wanting to spend money for a parking space. On the minus side, this Walmart was not great. Starting with carts in the cart corrals and continuing inside to shelves needing stocking, merchandise scattered about (why is there a jug of milk in the water aisle? people suck!) and a long queue at the self checkout. Last night I ordered groceries online from the Rockingham Walmart, to be delivered between 10 AM and noon today. I needed to be here when they arrived so I could get frozen things into the freezer right away. Noon came and went. I got an email from Walmart saying my order was delayed and should arrive by 1:10 PM. It also said they would keep me updated. Abour 1:00 they sent another email saying again that my order was delayed, and this time offering no estimated time of arrival. But they did say that I could reschedule, pick up the order, or cancel it. However, not knowing what was causing the delay, it was hard to decide what to do. So I decided to wait a while longer. At about 4:30, I tried to call and ask if they expected the order to be delivered at all today, or if they had lost it or what was going on. It rang and rang about 20 times, but no answer in the pickup and delivery department. So I tried to call the main operator. Again, 20+ rings with no answer. Then I checked the website again. It said they're still working on it. Now it's 6:30. My order is 6 1/2 hours late with no idea of when of if it might arrive. And they have not kept me updated as promised. I can't get any information. I don't want a refund, I need my groceries! Picking them up isn't an option tonight, and who knows if my order is even ready if I went to get it? They won't tell me anything. I've had many good experiences with Walmart, with delivery orders, pickup orders, and shopping in the store. But never anything even remotely like this. I have to agree with other posters, the Rockingham Walmart is overall the worst I've ever seen, and I have lived in a lot of places and shopped in many Walmart stores. But our choices are very limited here. read more

Ordered a phone it was delayed so I canceled it almost 20 days later I still haven't gotten a refund I call and call and don't get any answers to when I'm getting my refund. Walmart scammed me out of my money I will never make a purchase for Walmart again I'll use Amazon or ebay for now on won't scam me for. Another dollar read more

I like shopping there I always find everything I need, however I don't think I should have to show my receipts to anyone at the door especially since I just checked out at a self checkout I think I deserve some cashiers paycheck for doing their job. read more

You guys can't answer the phone for nothing. I called about a pick up order three times and no pickup. I call the associated and no pickup. What's the point of having a phone if your not going to answer the calls? Very bad customer service when it comes to calling. I understand you can be busy but at least answer a phone call....I would see workers doing nothing and you guys expect us to have good customer service? It's a "save money live better" store but now to me it's a "waste customers time by not answering the phone is better" annoying!!!! Not the first time this has happened! read more

When you're in the field for even just a few days, coming back to civilization is a big deal, and this Super Wal-Mart is a big dose of civilization. It's got everything you might ever need, from groceries, electronics, apparel, eye candy, medical and comfort items. If only they'd hire more cashiers, or at least more efficient ones. read more

Pretty clean as far as wal-mart's go. It was nice to walk into a walmart that didnt have endless lines; but its also a small town. I dont have much to say besides the employees could be a bit more friendly. Oh and dont expect to get a job here. They dont hire ANYWHERE. read more
