Ok this is what I expect Walmart to look like inside and out. Staff is amazing and the store is clean and organized. Clearance stuff is amazing deals for both food and clothing. I was not happy about another Walmart I was at in Jackson but this is the one I'll be returning to regularly. They also have hot food available to grab and go. Be proud of your store! do not go to this location. I live only a few minutes away and I go out of my way to avoid this one. most recent experience, first they refused to let me use the self check out. Then we went to check out, light on, and instead of taking care of me and my family, they just kept chating with a coworker and cut the light off as I was starting to unload my cart. Did not even offer an apology. read more

Nastiest store I've ever been in. Expired meats in the bins-bacon, lunch meat. So expired the bags had expanded and the meat was grey. Somebody needs to come in there and have a clean up on all the aisles and the meat department. We were visiting the area and went in there for supplies. Huge mistake. read more

Compared to others, this is a more "relaxed" WalMart. I'm an avid WaMart shopper, so I've been to plenty. It's a familiar setup, so I get around easily, and find everything I need. EXCEPT, they're always out-of-stock and everything is tossed around. Wish I could have taken a photo today. I know they aren't short-staffed because I walked past at least 7 associates who were just chatting or buying food on break. Relaxed in every way here. Good and bad. read more

We are try to ask them some questions about products, but they just ingored us and chat with each other, one lady works at frond door, and the ladies work in electric products area, at least four women work there with bad attitude.I wish they are happy for their work but we would not go to Wartmart anymore because their unprofessional attitude is not only from one or two workers. Hello, I purchased a mini fridge that was discounted. The box was taped shut so I could not look at it. A sticker was on it that stated "minor flaws". Minor flaws are fine, such as a dents, scratches, discolored. I drove home. This was not my local Walmart so it was further. I open it and the first thing I notice is it is missing the shelf. Then I tried to close it and the door tilts so it would not close. Minor flaws does not mean broken. I went to the Walmart near me without the receipt. A gift card for the value would have been suitable. They refused to take it because the bar code had a black line through it. There was another bar code on the box that worked. I went home and got the receipt. I went back and they still refused to take it back and told me to go back to the original store. With the receipt they would not take it. Missing parts and broken they would not take it. I tried to return it the same day it was purchased. I am disappointed in the customer service. I have always been told you can return to any Walmart with a receipt and since it was not a close distance, accommodations could have been made. Surprisingly helpful staff in the electrical department today. Helped me search for a light bulb. Idk about y'all, but I don't really expect any help at a Walmart so that was cool... Parking is impossible, but security has a strong presence. Don't mess with those long lines and just self checkout. Always faster! read more

It was pretty easy to locate, Google Map took us right to the location. They have parking spaces available but was pretty packed and had to drive around few times to find parking. It was kept pretty clean [based off the Walmart standard], I came in to grab water and few snacks for the road. I was able to find everything easily despite it being crowded. Check out lines were busy and moving super slow - thank god for self checkout counters. read more

I avoid this location, even though it is the closest to me, as often as I can. Every now and then, I find myself here for whatever reason. It is a smaller location, which is fine, but I constantly find that the parking situation is terrible, the store is not the cleanest, and the lines are the longest. read more

This Walmart is so bad that I created a Yelp account specifically to review it. Let's make a list of problems, shall we? Parking: Lot is too small to support the traffic. Leads to massive lines in every aisle. Check Out: Too few lanes, most self-check outs are broken, and the cashiers are slow even by Mississippi standards. Products: Products are not where they should be, so prices and availability are both a guessing game. Additionally, most products in Health & Beauty are or have been opened and "tried." The product I purchased had a dollop missing from the middle, but as it was the only one in stock (maybe? Or maybe there were more somewhere else...it's like a tornado swept through there), I was stuck with it. Workers: Wow. It's one thing to not care (I expect that at Walmart), but it's another to be purposefully obstructive. I've never been run into by staff while walking in aisles wide enough for three or four people as often as today. Not to mention holding conversations with coworkers in front of items while not doing their job... I'd always gone to the Flowood Walmart in the past, and I will drive further to continue frequenting the Flowood branch in the future. I would recommend you do the same! read more

This walmart's money center is traaash! They changed their policies OVERNIGHT and kept me from cashing my checks from work and even receiving moneygrams at their location. They are not very professional and lack empathy. The store itself is pretty cool, and the staff is hilarious (minus the moneycenter) read more

They just need to start over lol. Seriously, THE rudest Walmart I've ever been to. I just heard a worker in front of me yell to another worker in the back to "help lady at the other end". It was a guy. A young guy in his late teens with a bowl haircut. The male worker she was talking to said "that's a guy", in which her response was "oh I couldn't tell". The boy at the other end clearly heard her. Then they started talking about race... O_o It was just too much. Very unprofessional. Not to mention the produce wasn't fresh. The cashier was also rude and didn't tell me my total, yet had the nerve to look impatient while I was paying for my groceries lol. Only thing I can say is that the girl who made the chicken wings did a great job. They were quite yummy (by Walmart standards lol). read more

I have never experienced such rudeness at a Walmart in my life. This Ridgeland Walmart is never stocked properly, the cashiers are rude and do not have a clue what they are doing. I can't say the managers at this store are any better. It has gone down hill. It does not pay to shop there at all in any aspects. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
