Forget something for the lake? Need to get some groceries for your cabin? This is a one stop shop outside of OG/Lake Mac area. It's a drive from the lake, but it typically has everything you need from produce to bread, baby needs, sunscreen, fishing stuff and more. We don't have many complaints about this location, but we haven't really had a bad experience here over the years of our trips. Always have what we need and even stuff we don't. read more

As an over the road truck driver I purchase weekly groceries at Wal Marts all over the Country.....Out of all of them the Ogallala NE. Location is hands down the friendliest, happiest employees I've ever had the joy to deal with. All other stores could take lessons on smiling and being sincerely appreciative of the customer from this crew definitely visiting any time I'm near .....GOOD IN YA! read more

Checkers at 8:00am when every truck driver who has overnighted in your truck lot is in buying their supplies. Self checkout was a joke. This Walmart has to be the worst one but when they are only one of 2 options in town we are stuck. read more

Walmart hiking prices on gifts right before Christmas, when the price was the regular price a few days ago. Bought a ring I've been looking at for a couple of months. Then all of a sudden it's $20 more than it has been. Their explanation is gold prices fluctuate, not by that much they don't, and it's gold plated, not even solid gold . read more

I am an African American woman and my husband is a Mexican man, and from the time we entered until the time we left we were watched and followed by employees. Durning the time of check out we had gone to self check out because there were a few things still to run and grab. Upon my return of grabbing said items there was a team lead going through our basket. I asked what was going on and she proceeded to tell me a $.30 pack of Roman noodles wasn't rung up as she's saying this she continues to go through our already bagged food ( keep in mind we have already rang up $160 worth of groceries, alcohol included.) She then proceeded to "help" us ring everything else in our cart up! It was a terrible experience and I hope the night shift me and my husband encountered doesn't treat anyone else like that it was an extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable situation and considering I'm a visitor! making me have nothing positive to say about Ogallala Nebraska Walmart! read more

I don't know what Adrian D. is complaining about... (see his comment below...) it sounds like he was having a bad day. Something about hail and his windows getting busted out? I feel bad for people who take their anger out on inanimate objects; like a Walmart, or drywall, or a house door. Adrain is clearly one of those people who does this. It reminds me of all the Kyle/drywall meme's that surfaced on Facebook. Do you remember that couple months in the summer of 2019 when those popped off? Anyways, I hope Adrian's insurance paid out for his hail damage an windows. My girlfriends car had hail damage in Colorado an they paid about $800-$1000 short of what the repair cost. People will always shop here, it's a Walmart. Everything under one roof for cheap. Oh, and Paige.... You rude rude human. Do you think people judge you for the 100 times you were normal, or the 1 time you messed something up? "We've been coming here since we were kids.." (probably a thousand times) "but the one time we had a bad experience we will write a one star review about it." Jeeeeze. The lady bumped into you and said "excuse me"! That's what people say. Sorry your outlook on life is such doo-doo you think everyone is negative for you. How bout you write a review for the 300 times you've been here and got stuff on such a deal of a price you were happy with what you paid for an item? People are such prudes. One star reviews on Walmart's and stores like this make me roll my eyes harder than a bowling ball down the strike lane. Anyways, this is just a regular ol' 24/7 Walmart super center. As for you... Adrian... Paige.... save your one star reviews for the strip clubs an breakfast cafes. read more

Probably the smallest Walmart I've ever been in, but it's a Walmart nonetheless. Clean store, most things in stock, and no issues. Only reason not giving them 5-stars is part of the reason we were there was for Legos and they were nearly out of the bigger boxes. read more

Yet you are closed for an inconvenience?! No my car that was pummeled with hail and lost windows (no I need to patch just to get home) is an inconvenience! What a joke. 24 hour store closed the day hundreds need it open! read more

Your website says MASKS are required! Yes! I was there yesterday, employees say they are required but not shoppers. Over 60% were NOT wearing masks. What about protecting YOUR employees! People are still getting sick and dying from COVID. Tacky read more

Another visit to a Walmart gas station and another low gas price. This one was just off I-80 in Ogallala, NE...except because the interstate highway was closed for over a ten mile stretch, we spent two and a half hours on a packed detour before we finally made it here for gas. Surprisingly, it wasn't as packed as I anticipated with all of our fellow detourers wanting to finally be able to get back onto I-80. But the first pump I pulled up to was out of order! The one behind me opened up so I just backed up to line up with the pump and proceeded to fill my tank. When I was done filling up, and was eager to finally get back on our way, my receipt didn't print out! So I needed to go inside to request a copy and let them know that the paper was out on that pump. Other than that, I'm beginning to like what I see at Walmart gas stations. read more
