This is one of the worst Walmarts I have ever been in! Not only do they run out of bananas strawberries and grapes more often than any other store EVER! Most of the workers openly hate their jobs and are rude. Community would benefit from an HEB! read more

This store has to be run by China. The pharmacy is sad. They can never get more than one prescription ready at a time and it takes a week to do that. I don't go to Walmart unless it to p/u Rx. Don't shop there anymore. Everything is from Mexico. The mask wearing by employees is insulting to customers. It's a wonder they have any left. Walmart Jasper Tx is always out of something. we tried to cash a check, apparently we Couldn't , the employe or 'someone' tried stealing it, they gave us the wrong receipt for the check as well, took to long to talk to the manager. and now we have to wait longer for it ,all I have to say is terrible terrible terrible ! some employees are very nice but most are rude and unhelpful. read more

I don't mind being asked for my receipt because I know I did not steal anything. Not that I think most people understand just how many people steal. I like the new manager at the jasper store he is not afraid to work. Most of the employees are very helpful when I need something. There is always that one customer that is going to scream and cuss at the employee not mater if they have done something wrong or not. I am from the New Orleans Louisiana area. This store is by far staffed with the friendliness and most helpful employees in any store I have every shopped. Not only do they tell you where the product your looking for is. They walk you to it..... yes it's a little short on checkers but self serve registers are always open. Needs more Courtesy associates. The cart pushers now are expected to do too much. Wipe the soda machines, take out the trashes (inside too), Sweep up all cigarette buds, help with carry outs, sweep the parking lot, push in carts, and spray the cracks for Weeds... Then barely have enough time to actually push in carts. It's especially harder when you're the only one on a side. read more

This Walmart get some bad reviews. Yes, its not great for selection. Shop Walmart online is the answer, about the same price and free 2nd-day shipping, way bigger selection, problem solved, get over it. It is true, they sell what the store wants you to buy when there cheaper alternatives if a person ever shop at USAVE foods and learn that big "Corp. Brands" not the only choices. What we see is "country folks" not adapting to changing times, it all going online and "ask Alexia". Who really wants to go in town anyway wasting gas and mileage on our expensive cars? For lack of checkers, use self-check out or the new Mobil scan and go, get over it, adapt. Stockers, checkers, floor buffers,truck drivers, stockers, ect. all going to robotics very soon, adapt, get over it. Teach your kid to code computers, not woodworking, FFA, welding, stupid football, adapt people, adapt. The following happened Friday, September 1, 2017 when more than 20,000 people in the Texas Counties of Jasper, Newton and Sabine were without electricity because of Hurricane Harvey. The 24 hour Walmart Store here in Jasper TX shut the doors on those attempting to shop here on Friday while falsely telling customers that a curfew was in place, prompting a great deal of anger and hardship. I had traveled more than 25 miles to this store, but i was turned away. Store personnel told customers, many who had traveled from areas without power and needing baby formula and other supplies, that they were forced to close at 6:00 p.m. because local officials had put a curfew in place. The problem is that Jasper County Judge Mark Allen, Jasper Mayor Randy Sayers and Jasper Police Chief Gerald Hall did not known anything about any such curfew. Let see if the great Walmart can justify not providing the needed food and supplies for our children. SHAME ON YOU WALMART!!! read more

I have been to Walmart stores in a lot of different places all over the south. What I can say for this one is that is one of the worst anywhere. The store never has anything stocked. It is dirty. The workers are lazy and will not help you. I went to purchase an iPad from them and there went to the back to get one and never came back. Seriously never came back. I waited for thirty minutes just to see what would happen. I never saw another employee. It was like 3 in the afternoon and there was nobody working the electronic section. They never stock the movies like they should. The new release section is always days or weeks behind, and there are always boxes of stock not on the shelves but in boxes cramming up the aisles at all hours of the day. They don't have a great variety in any part of the food section particularly the ethnic and produce sections. They don't take care of the plants in the garden section. Everything there is always dead or about dead. It is so bad many of the people from Jasper have started driving to Lufkin or Beaumont which are at least an hour drive away just to shop for groceries. read more

DO NOT BUY TIRES FROM HERE! I have bought my tires at this Walmart since I bought my car 6yrs ago. I have always had great service till the last 2 times I was in there. Today I went because one of my tires was coming apart again, I just had to replace one for the same reason late last year. The tread comes off of the tire and then they want to say you have no road hazard. I have never bought a tire without road hazard I don't care where I buy them. What is the point of spending hundreds of dollars on tires with road hazard. Then when you have a problem they tell you it was never purchased. The last time I was there the manager came over told them I did purchase road hazard they were reading the receipt wrong. Walmart does not enforce their own rules or stand behind their products. They act like everyone is trying to rip them off. I will not purchase a tire with them anymore, I will go to Lakeway and be treated like a respected person and customer. read more

Jasper- Walmart sucks. Always out of stock on items you buy everyday. If you inquire about an item they never listen to your full question, it's always the same, we cant get it. Funny, tag is on shelf, or I got it before. Only positive thing I can say is I went to Assistant Manager one day to help me with a T.V. I found on line that said it was in stock at Jasper store. Lazy girl working Dept said they didn't have it, didn't even look, (Nay) I believe her name. I had been in there 3/4 weeks trying to find this smart TV, Mr. A.J. was the one who went above & beyond to help me find the TV &purchase it at on line price. Also helped load & secure it in the trunk of my car. Funny, all the girls in that dept kept telling me it was not in stock. But yet the dept manager rolled it out of the back. Thumbs up to her & Mr. A.J. For the rest of Jasper Wal Mart, shut it down, I'll go to Woodville or Beaumont. read more
