Just ask Tony or Phil. They will get you anything you need. They do for me. All I have to do is ask. They are the nicest people in the world and treat their employees as well. It trickles down. Their employees treat you very well too. The only thing they have not been able to get is "Welches Natural Strawberry Preserves 28oz". That is because Welches has conspired with wally-world to make it their exclusive product. However, at CVs in aisle nine they have "Polar strawberry preserves made with real sugar instead of criminal high fructose corn syrup". And it's only a dollar but a smaller container. Works out to the same price. TO HELL with both Welches and walmart for their conspiricy... The other product that is no longer available is "ORAWHEAT whole grain bread" . NO local store can get it because Wonder now owns orawheat and conspired with walmart for an exclusive. My solution; I get red wheat from Squash Blossom in 25 or 50 pound bags and grind my own flour as I need it and bake my own bread again like I used to before orawheat. TO HELL with wonder and walmart. My bread is better. CVs sells a large jar of bulk yeast and they sell "ZUKAR" which is raw unbleached sugar to feed the yeast. All forms of corn syrup is bad for you including kayro. Squash Blossom is up on Dora Road (rt-64d) in VanBuren just a few feet north of route 40. They like CVs will get anything you ask for. Just phone ahead. They are also the nicest people you want to meet. Their address and phone is; 5005 Dora Rd, Van Buren, AR 72956 (479) 474-1147 CVs phone is; 479-996-4440 Just ask for Tony or Phil They want to be your friend as well as your grocer. BOYCOTT all companies who conspire with walmart to corner a market. If we ever get an honest white-house they will all go to jail for conspiricy and violations of the "Anti Trust and Monopoly" law. CVS is GREAT PEOPLE. !!!

This small building is about 130 years old, and the there's a modernized 1890's vibe here, playing 1970's music overhead. I'm not sure what I liked better: my bacon cheeseburger or my slice of chocolate pie. The burger was two (seemingly) mini meatloaves, perfectly seasoned, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. The cheese was bubbly. I found the bun somewhat weak for the job it was trying to hold together. Collapsed into itself at one point. The bacon was fine (isn't it always!), but just not my favorite. The home-made fries were potatoey perfection. My grandmother passed around 1982. If she were still here, I'd be forced to tell her someone makes a better chocolate pie than her. At least I avoided the cussing and getting walloped by a broom. The crust was buttery and of perfect firmness. The chocolate cream was covered in heavenly whipped cream, I assume homemade. Will absolutely be coming back in the Fall, for the leaf show. And a burger. And that pie. Great staff also. Very welcoming, including the owner.

This is a beautiful, small community of people, and if you're looking to meet the locals of the Arkansas Ozarks, this is the place to go. Everyone is friendly. You can buy some hot food or a cold soda. But, it's a dry town, so don't expect and beer or wine. Fair prices, and there is even a gas pump. You pay at the counter with the clerk, and tell them how much you put in your tank. What a true gem.

They've always had the best shoe selection in town, and that still holds true. I wanted the cutest hey dude sandals, but they didn't have my size unfortunately, so I left empty handed. But they also have the best selection and prices on the Zenana boutique brand of clothes! Tons of adorable jumpsuits and overalls. Staff just stood around and gossiped the whole time I was there, but that's never changed in 20 years.

Walking in brought me back to my days when I was a small kid shopping in the town square department store in my mom's hometown in rural Illinois. For me, I really enjoyed the nostalgia. I wasn't sure what to expect as I walked into this rural community independent department store, not as a kid anymore, but with adult eyes. I can say I was pleasantly surprised! They offer an impressive range of shoes for the whole family: cowperson boots (mom, dad & kiddo), Twisted X shoes, New Balance, Nike and others. If in need of shoes while you are in Eufaula, I would put this shop on my list to visit. They offer women's intimate wear, and casual outfits. They stock seasonal clothing for the whole family, including socks. If you are on the market for men's winter clothing, I noticed they had a selection of Carhart coats and overalls for dad and Carhart for kiddos, too! If #shopsmall is a motto you live by, don't miss stopping by Sharpe's during your next trip to Eufaula. They have comparable prices to those I've seen in OKC area. You might just find something at Sharpe's you didn't know you needed!
