Walmart: Billion-Dollar Pickpocket It's story time! I made a $425 grocery order on 9/13/25, paid the extra $5 for 3 hour or less delivery. Driver was six minutes away--porch light on, house numbers glowing--then magically marked "attempted" and disappeared. No knock, text, call..just a vanishing act. From 9/14 onward I lived in customer-service purgatory. Walmart reps fed me empty lines like "I've got your back," "We'll fix everything," and "Please don't worry," while emailing me coupon codes. The "resolution"? Cancel my order and maybe refund me...someday. Mentally tapped out, I called my mother to vent and she happened to be at Walmart. Since I had spent hours trying to get someone on the phone there to no avail, she went to customer service and handed her own cell phone to an associate. I was informed that they could re deliver because the order was shopped through a third party, Spark. Wrong. Point Pick-Up is the actual third party. Spark is Walmart's own house brand. How does your own company become a stranger to you. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with a rep in the parking lot and was promised the amount of it items plus tax credited to my Walmart balance. Five hours later: nothing. I called back and the next rep tells me there's a "50/50 chance" my order might show up, but I have to wait 3-5 days to find out. Final insult: wait 10 more days while Walmart continues to hold ky money hostage. Your own app says you only charge a debit/credit card after it's marked and completed by the driver and a photo of the delivery is uploaded. That never happened. Releasing a hold takes hours, not 10 days, it's 2025. This isn't customer service. It's legalized theft dressed in a blue vest. Walmart pockets the cash; customers chase their own money. My $425 may be lint in your corporate couch cushions, but it's a week of meals for my family. Night of 9/16: I finally get an email from Walmart "Account Review." It was riddled with errors--"sice" instead of since, and a garbled sentence about reordering and my money that made no sense. It read like a lazy attempt to pacify my entire complaint rather than fix anything. Morning of 9/18 I receive an email from Walmart finally cancelling my order after 5 days. My money will be released in 10 business days. So by the time I actually get my money back, they will have had it almost 3 weeks. How is that legal? Walmart, you're not acting like a retailer. You're a corporate mugger, happy to grab the money and dare customers to fight for a basic refund. read more

I hate this Walmart. Stockers always blocking the isles and rude. Meats always look bad and even the ones I buy when I open have a foul smell. They won't take it back either. Rude customer service Today was no exception . This Walmart employee was very rude. She had just wiped up some water from the floor. Nothing on the floor and just stood there. When I said excuse me she rolled her eyes and stood there. Said can't you see the water. There was no water anymore. She said if you must've by, then I hope you don't fall on your ass and grinned. Glad they are in Dunn. Like their variety and good prices. I just switched to a vegetarian diet this year and I appreciate the variety of plant based meals and burgers in their food department and fresh fruits and veggies. The rest of the store is great and again we appreciate the variety. We shop almost every department at one time or another in a month. Can always count on Walmart to have what we need in most cases. read more

I can always count on this place to have what I need. I haven't ran into any lazy workers (my peeve). They all seem willing to help out and are cheerful. I have found really great finds !!! Like this $20 comforter. Some were marked as $25 but rang as $20. So no problem there! I'm pretty sure they are 24hr Bc I come here at all kinds of hours in the night. They have self check out registers that I usually go to which have been extremely helpful when I've been in a hurry. DEPENDABLE. I've appreciated having this Walmart here especially when everything is 30+ minutes away living in a rural area. read more

I love Walmart. They sell a lot of stuff, including groceries, electronics, sporting equipment, and video games. I give Walmart five stars.

I live in the area and unfortunately is the closest store of this kind with out driving for an hour.If you require customer service forget it.The clerks are all generly rude.If ou need there assistance then you might plan on being there for a period of time.For example the faric dept .You can push the button every 15 minutes and no one responds...Finally when you want it bad enough and you go to customer service you might get one of there managers to cut it...Then the associates are always blocking the isles.If you ask them a question they role there eyes and you want to grab them and shake them and tell them this is your job..... read more

While understanding that it's near the holidays, I have NEVER seen such poor management and horrible customer service. Jerry, in the hunting department does not have the resources to successfully offer customer service and the management is absolutely no help. My husband and brother-in-law have went to the store three times today to obtain a hunting license and have waited in line for more than 45 minutes (again) to hear that they need to leave the hunting department (again) while they have Jerry take a break. Jerry had already told them to return later and when they did, they still were not helped by Jerry. The manager was 'unable' to sell a hunting license, or just didn't want to help the customers who were waiting for close to an hour for a simple transaction. One would think that Walmart would have plenty of money for the staff and resources to help their customers...?? read more

Do NOT order catering trays from this location. We ordered over $250 of catered trays for a formal occasion three weeks in advance of the event and was called the day before to tell us they did not have our entire order on their truck. We spoke with a manager after being on hold for over 45 mins and she said she would fix it. After we opened everything we realized, they gave us what they wanted to fill our order but not what we ordered. Save your sanity and go elsewhere! read more

We stopped here over night because all the campgrounds nearby were full. Parking lot is well lit and store is clean. The associates who helped us figure out if we could stay or not were very helpful and kind. Only rules were that we park away from the entrance and clean up any mess we made. read more

This location is about like any other walmart location. There are 500 employees working but only 3 registers open. This location is a bit messy as well. It shares a parking lot with the rest of the shopping center so it is always crowded and dirty. read more

In general, Walmart sucks, blows and bites all at the same time, but this location stands out for being among the most awful I've ever encountered. Its staff, if you can find them, are pretty much uninterested in helping customers (sole exception is a large dude in the pickup area at the back). Call them up to find out what time the pickup department closes and be transferred to the pickup department umpty-ump times but they never answer. Evidently only the employees who work in that department know its hours because the main operator could not be bothered to tell me. Ask for a manager? Oh hahahahahaha. Not gonna happen. They are happy to put you on hold and wait you out and believe me, they have more time than I do. If you can engage an actual human, they MAY be willing to act as though you are not an enormous pain in their butts, but don't count on it except in the garden department and about 50% of the time with the cashiers. No wonder they're transitioning to no checkers: too many of them are personable and polite. Seriously, they are the only game in town and they know it and they don't give a flying crap about their customers. It's a shame. read more
