This store loves to have employees that DON'T KNOW ANYTHING. You have a problem, they are unable to help. They are very slow to call for a supervisor that may or may not know anything. They have 2 full service check out registers and usually only 1 is in service. You go the the customer service desk and there are usually 2 or 3 employees, all taking car of the same customer and ignoring the ones standing in line. When you ask a question you get a blank stare showing a major lack of knowledge. When it is at all possible I shop for items at what little competition there still is in town. This Walmart has not earned my business. read more

Yup, had to drop it one star, have completely automated the check process (need help, "forget about it"), ask anyone where "anything" is and they will look at you like you have a horn growing out of the middle of your forehead. Glad they completely rearranged the store, (I was starting to know where they stocked items) it is fun to get to learn that all over again. Oh, let's just employ teenagers and people over 80, because the is so helpful. Good job Wal-Mart! You rock! read more

Really great Walmart. Really clean and organized. Plenty of associates, I must have spoken to three. Bathrooms are clean. I asked one associate where the bathroom was, and she walked me there! This lady even had a limp so you know she didn't want to escort me, but she did. She asked where I from and where I was headed, she made jokes, I don't know her name but she was wonderful. We stopped here en route to the river and I wanted a new tank-top to wear with my trunks and show off my pythons! Unfortunately they did not have Any, but the trip was still saved. We found these super cool bandanas and those cords that hold sunglasses to your neck and these are my favorite new accessories! Just a nice experience overall. read more

We went in for a new battery on Thursday. When we got our car back, our automatic doors wouldn't work. Since they worked fine before, we figure it's something simple. We sit there for 2 1/2 hours while they try to figure it out! Instead of fixing anything, we just keep finding more weird things wrong: Back hatch won't open without the key on, interior lights won't come on, no alarms, etc. It's obvious they've done something. Finally, Brandi comes along and she's great, says if it's their fault Walmart will pay to fix it. When we take it to the dealership in Little Rock, they find 2 blown fuses and have to clear the codes from our computer and they confirm it definitely happened when the battery was changed. Takes a day and costs $400. Then we go back to Walmart to be reimbursed and Chris gives us all kinds of grief; he's combative and unreasonable and not professional acting at all. He says he doesn't think their techs did it, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. In the end, he begrudgingly pays us. The morals of the story: Make sure you have everything documented before you leav, if Walmart messes up. DON'T deal with Chris, if you can help it. Go find Brandi, she's nice, reasonable, and helpful. read more

There are many Wal-Marts around the United States. This is definitely one of the cleaner, friendlier ones I've ever been to. It is not the biggest store, but the selection is great. The prices are not bad at all and nothing is outrageously overpriceed. Overall, this Wal-Mart is definitely one of the better ones. read more

Wal-Mart is notorious for driving out small businesses and killing downtowns. In Clinton's case, downtown Clinton was already a stinking corpse before Wal-Mart came in, but the town did have a couple of viable local grocery stores. Super Wal-Mart is doing it's best to take care of those. For good or ill, this has pretty much become the hub of small-town life. This is where you go to see people you never want to see again. read more

I am also from California and our Walmart stores there were great. Well organized and easily accessible. I have shopped Walmarts in East Tennessee for two years and I have been here for a year. I am a disabled senior citizen and find the Walmart employees consistently helpful in every way. The store is clean, attractive and allows me to do all my shopping in one place which is a major blessing. I hear the Walmart jokes and see the Walmart reality and know the difference. It's a pleasure to deal with the store and its employees. Thank you for being there for me. read more
