The lines are always long now, there is never enough staff, they are trying but particularly in a hurry. It was so much faster with the kiosk and rarely a line. The gas station micromanagement with the cones has caused lines all the way to the street almost every day. Everyone was hoping you'd figure it out and put it back where we decided where we wanted to go. People are naturally more efficient and use common sense, your way is slow and wasteful. I recently was in a Sam's in another state and was shocked at the difference, nicer facilities, clean restrooms, no micromanagement of the gas lines and no congestion. The store was nearer, cleaner, more like a Cisco with better presentation. I didn't realize it's just ours that's unkept, messy and unattractive.

Okay, I love TJ Maxx. First time at this particular one in Joplin. A little odd set up from what I…read moream used to. It's actually inside the Northpark Mall with an interior entrance. It is smaller than the TJ Maxx's I frequent, but still plenty of great deals and merchandise. It's currently under renovation to expand the dressing rooms. I just noticed The Body Shop products in TJ Maxx this week. I am not sure if this is new to the chain or I am just now noticing it. I am not really a Body Shop girl, but for those who are - - might be some good deals. This location seemed to have an abundance of salon quality hair products - Matrix, Rusk, Big Sexy Hair, etc. Seriously, I use to by my products from the salon (years ago)...not a chance I would do that now. No reason to waste the money when you can find them so much cheaper at places like TJ Maxx and Marshall's. I wear Saucony Oasis tennis shoes. They were over $100 when I first bought them in a running store. For months now, I have found these same Saucony's in TJ Maxx for $34.99. Oh yah!. I have them in every color. I actually had not seen them in a bit, but luck was on my side and found a great pair of purple ones. Yep, another pair of cheap Oasis added to the collection. I also love unique stationery and cards. I found the cutest box of Chihuahua greeting cards. They weren't a great "deal" (but I am tight!), but I had to have them. I regularly shop at these similar types of stores (TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Gordman's, Ross) and this location had some quality stuff from cosmetics, shoes, clothing to housewares. I am rarely in Joplin, but if I am - I would certainly take the time to return to this location.

Now, it used to be a dollar. It then moved to $1.25. For the most part, it is still that. As times have changed, they have incorporated higher priced items in the mix! When shopping, be mindful of that. Overall, it was a nice experience. The store was clean and employees were friendly. Some of the aisles were cramped due to employees restocking shelves.

There is also a disconnect between the stores and the company. I purchased two things both with a five dollar mail in rebate several years ago. I ask them to ring them up separately because on both it said you need the original receipt to be sent in. The guy who, after a long wait in line when it was not busy, checked me out was the manager. He told me I could just put it together and he would print two receipts. I said ok. After I payed he took the one receipt to the back and just copied it. I sent off both rebates (two separate addresses) and the one that was copied was rejected. I went back to the manager who did the same as me, called them to explain it and got nowhere. They still owe me $5. It's not about the five bucks, it's the fact that they won't make it right even after the manager of the store calls them. I am being generous to give them 3 instead of 2, but that is because they do have good products.

Prices are very competitive and they're all within a cent of each other, and inexpensive to boot. With the extra 10 cents off per gallon for being a Love's Rewards Member, Love's was an easy choice to fill up today. The station is easily accessible from the interstate and the pump area is wide enough for your larger vehicle. Inside, lots of grab-and-go food, a variety of rolled meats on the hot dog grill and options for hot and cold drinks. Restrooms are clean, too. Be sure you're giving way to those truckers. They might not see you and they don't stop quickly with those loaded trailers. [Review 1509 of 2025 - 481 in Missouri - 25060 overall]

To get off the freeway and to get to the gas station took 25 minutes. And to get back on the freeway, took an additional 20 minutes. My husband was very upset. The store is your usual set up if you've ever been into one before, always stocked, neat and the items are easy to find. I've gone to this location on multiple occasions throughout the years and I've rarely come across a worker who's made me feel welcome or who was the least bit helpful. It's unfortunate that Joplin only has one Sally's store within the city because the workers, not all the workers, just seem to be rude. I usually don't ever return to places where there's poor customer service but seeing that this is one of the only places in the area for beauty supplies, I've just learned to be in and out as fast as possible. It just takes away from the whole experience of browsing for new products and steers me away from buying anything new.

The only thing I have noticed is that unless you plan on using the meat you buy at Muncys within a few weeks it will go bad.
