Wal-Mart are you proud of your employee Joe?? I send my husband to go get me over the counter medicine from the pharmacy as I'm 6 months pregnant and feeling bad. Store hours say closed at 11pm and my husband tried to go in the store at 10:54pm. Joe stops my husband and says he can't go in. When my husband asked to speak to the manager or supervisor Joe stands there and yells "NO! NO!NO! while slamming the doors in my husband's face and taunting him. He did get the photo of Joe who was very proud of his behavior and representation of the Wal-Mart brand. read more

Walmart Supercenter - Joe poor customer service and refusing entry to store at 10:54pm when store closes at 11pm - Department Stores Near Me - Butte, Montana

I am in a 33' Class A Motorhome & due to the fact that there are very few RV campgrounds in the area (1 KOA for $100 per nite - NOPE) I stayed overnight a few nites at this Walmart waiting for some forwarded mail to catch up with me. Usually, I was one of 4 or 5 RV's staying overnight. Had no problems at all & was able to get all my shopping done too. I had a beautiful view of the mountains all around me, so gorgeous setting. There is a nail salon in this one & I plan on taking advantage of that. I will post a separate review for that later. read more

I did okay here, stopping in to pick up three things for the road. I found two of them and the third was out of stock. This is about where my expectations are these days for shopping at Walmart with a defined list. The store was clean and the cart corrals were clear today. A greeter at the door welcomed me to Walmart but did not check my receipt as I left. The self-checkout worked fine. There are better Walmart Supercenters and there are ones that are a lot worse. First off I want to address your employee shelli, she was rude, screamed in my face, and almost physically assaulted me. When I reacted she said "I've worked at Walmart over 20 years, and make more money than you'll ever see I can do whatever I want here" which I believe is 100% false. On top of which your sites and everywhere online states Rv parking is allowed but I woke up to a tow truck after being there 16 hours when it's 24 hour parking. But there's atleast 3 rigs that live there full time and obviously don't move. Shelli was discriminatory, rude, aggressive, and shouldn't be the face of your Walmart. read more

Easy to find at the end of town with a big parking lot it's your normal Walmart. The store has always been clean and well stocked the interesting thing is 2 times I was there o saw security apprehended shoplifters. Good job security read more

While we were able to purchase everything we needed at a reasonable price, the store was filthy. We used the self-checkout in full view of the employee apparel assigned to that area and the employee at the door. However, when leaving with our few food items, we had to have our bag and receipt checked. (After some searching, we discovered we'd left the receipt at the register.) It was a completely unnecessary hassle. Next grocery run: we went to Safeway. read more

Very friendly staff. Sometimes a little short because of being busy, but always pleasant. Store is usually very clean. Aisles normally well-stocked. Decent range of organic foods, both fresh and packaged. The carts are not always clean, but that seems to be the pecadillo at all the grocery stores. As an open-carrier, I have had zero problems with Walmart. However, due to a shooting at Walmart in one of the southwestern states, Walmart asked at the corporate level to not open carry. Message to carriers: wear your jackets. Walmart did not "ban" guns, just open carry. Security at the door is all dependent on who is working at the time and yes, they'll check a receipt and look through your bags, but really, they're just doing their job. Overall: fine, friendly store. read more

i would give this experience a 0/10 if possible, as a minor i was chased around the store by creepy touchy manger and staff members it made me extremely uncomfortable and i felt like my life was at risk with the inappropriate touchy if my shoulders, she ask me to come to the back of the store for "business purposes". it was a weird wider set blonde girl. read more

Coming from California, where the walmarts are massive, this one is a bit small. It does have everything I need, so it works. The staff is probably the friendliest I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with at a Walmart! At the store I used to shop at you were lucky to even FIND an employee. At this location there are usually employees nearby working and always willing to help! They even offer sometimes before you ask! :) I do agree with the other reviewer. Walmart is an evil corp. I would much rather shop at Hennessy market (which I do for the most part). Sad. Because Walmart didn't start out that way. read more

One out of many all over the country, this Walmart isn't any different from the others. It's the kind of place you can pick up groceries, housewares, clothing, electronics--anything at all--at any time, day or night, for the "low Walmart price". The staff does their best, but don't expect much. A SubWay restaurant inside the store serves up sandwiches, including the "$5 Footlong". While the Butte Walmart is located on the heavily-trafficked Harrison Avenue, it is in a far-flung part of the city; a bit of drive for locals as well as travelers coming off the Interstate. Yet Walmart's clarion call of low prices and convenience doesn't stop anyone from going out all that way. Avoid shopping here on Saturdays during the day and Sunday afternoons if you're averse to crowds. Meanwhile, the ponderous parking lot is open to "Walmart Campers", though keep away from the area near the main driveway so as to not upset the professional panhandlers. read more

Walmart is the best place to shop in butte. Nice place to go to to get cheap stuff, food clothes, drinks, pets supply's, tools, hunting supply's nail salon is little expensive though but still nice. Hair salon. Nice hair styles read more

As an occasional drifter (or RV traveler as we are known as) we utilize the RV park option of many Walmart locations. This one is perfectly located in a city which makes a perfect stopping point while traveling the mountains. The restrooms were very clean and the staff as nice as one can expect at 6am. The parking lot is nicely sized and the area seems safe. Sometimes the RV park option isn't a good one at some of the seedier areas of a city. read more

This is a pretty typical Walmart. The garden center is okay. I'm not a big fan of the produce section. The bakery is okay. My biggest problem with this store is that they never have enough cash registers open. read more

This is a smallish Walmart, but it's pretty typical in all other respects. The staff try hard and are generally friendly when they don't seem like they have too much piled on. I'm not really a fan of Walmart in general, but it's one of the few places in town where a person can buy toys for kids. Avoid shopping here on the weekends if you are averse to crowds and waiting in line forever at the register. read more

The staff tries really hard but they are completely demoralized, being constantly harassed by management - probably nothing different than any other walmart in the world. Walmart is an evil corporation and to shop there, one is willingly and knowingly engaging with the dark side of consumerism that puts small businesses under. However, you can get everything you need in fell swoop, but don't expect walmart's chinese-made plastic crap to hold up for very long. Probably 1 in 10 things I've bought there has been completely unusable right out of the package. This walmart is probably better than most walmarts as you can find very helpful and friendly people who will help you find whatever you need. Avoid Saturday and Sunday. And a lot of the plants they sell are completely unfit for zone 2-3, the region where this walmart is. read more

I like Walmart. They have a great return policy and, actually, a good amount of their items are made right here in the USA.
