The place was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful and welcomed us to the store. They do only seem to have self-checkouts rather than any manned checkout stations but the employees help you and check you through without having to be asked anyway. The store isn't huge, but it's a nice size, and they have carts. There were so many bargains for things that would've cost a fortune even just if you went to Walmart. My friend and I each got a few things and it was so hard to limit ourselves!! The only suggestion I have is to add in some old fashioned candy to the little area where you can fill a bag up with individual pieces, root beer barrel hard candy and Old Fashioned Vanilla Creme Drops for instance. But, other than that it was a wonderful shopping experience and I really wish we had one in my town so I could go back more often! I'm definitely going to make another visit when I go through Kirksville again!

It was so neat and organized. It was obvious there's been a change somewhere. Not that the store was bad before, but it is especially orderly tonight. Always friendly cashiers and sales floor people. Marshalls never disappoints when it comes to their clothes, shoes, bags, and skincare/makeup. I was able to pick up very comfortable Danskin black flats, an eyebrow pencil, crew socks, and dry shampoo, all for a very reasonable price. Within a mile radius, you also have Old Navy, Hobby Lobby, Aldi, and Walmart. We're staying with friends who live about 5 min from this area and man, it doesn't get more convenient than this! Gave the bakery 2 pictures to go by and specific instructions. What I got was an incoherent sad excuse of a cake. You couldn't tell it was for a birthday let alone the theme. Never go to the Kirksville Walmart for a specialty cake.

I realize that there are those who need the help of motorized vehicles, but when they have no manners & almost run you down in an aisle should you not notice them quickly enough, then I have issues. Perhaps they should be supervised?? The deli department was overloaded with customers, but not enough help. Truck parking is available in the lot. Many I believe may be those coming & going from the local distribution center for Walmart close behind the local store.

I was happy to find 3 cans and went to customer service because I have wic which can not be done at self check and no regular registers were open. The woman at customer service rudely told me their Walmart does not accept wic because they do not sell produce. Told me to go next door to the grocery store. I had other items I was going to buy not on wic but left them because I'm not spending my money where you are rude to me Went nest door to c and r Market they do accept wic and had my formula. They were nice but their system was down so I could not purchase it. I had to leave it there and I wanted to cry. I came to my doctor's appointment and thankfully got sample cans of the formula. I am five months pregnant, do not discriminate against me because I have wic. I would never dream of treating a customer of mine like that. I will not be visiting this Walmart ever again. I have called the store and told them so.

It was a HOT and HUMID day and our AC was not functioning properly. I didn't have high expectations, but I also didn't have many options, so I stopped at Wal Mart and wandered back to the auto repair dept. I met Brad Maloney who listened carefully to my problems. He asked if he could take a look at the issue -- I about fainted. HE ASKED IF HE COULD LOOK AT IT!! Wow. He immediately pinpointed the problem and gave me some great advice. Brad went above and beyond the call of duty. Hats off to him. Wal Mart should be very proud of having him as an associate. Thank you Brad.

Made a stop here on our way to Arizona at the end of March. Both my husband and I used their…read morerestrooms and the men's and women's were clean. We grabbed a few easy premade meals to eat on the road, which was a good break from gas station food. I also picked up a graphic novel that had the complete series of "Stitch and the Samari". We stopped by this Wal-Mart not too far before midnight on the day we came, so we didn't get to stay for long since they close at midnight. Overall a pretty nice Walmart.
