I've been shopping at Walmart Supercentre South of Regina most of the time. So I checked out my groceries using my Walmart Mastercard as usual and it prompted on the screen "SA is on its way". The receipt printed out and all but the staff whose name is Jewel said Walmart MasterCard isn't accepted at the moment and she pointed out the unnoticeable sign that says it. She said "you're crashing my machine!" She seemed upset and not being polite. "Well, i didn't see the sign" I said. I saw 2 other customers had the same situation. I understand it's upsetting Jewel if it happens all the time to her but if that's the case, They should have posted the sign conspicuously before the checkout entrance visible to customers not just that little sign way above the machine. read more

Went here for the sole purpose of buying swimming trunks since I forgot to pack mine.. The store had 4 pairs of swimming shorts. 3 were XXXL Coors Brewing Brand, and the 4th was some ugly bright red Large size.. I asked a nearby employee if we were looking in the right area and she confirmed that's all they had. This store is HUGE.. and this is all they had? Oh well.. Walmart is currently collecting donations for the Children's hospital in Saskatoon. When I asked a manager at Moose Jaw Walmart how much Walmart was donating he told me they are matching customer donations but only up to $2000 per store. I think he said that 104 stores were participating in the fundraiser. That means that Walmart is planning on donating at most of $208,000 even if their customers donate more. That is a very small amount considering that the Walton Family have an estimated combined wealth of 200 BILLION dollars. That would be the equivalent of you or I giving a 10 cents. $208,000 is not even enough to keep a specialist or surgeon employed for one year. If Walmart gets to use these children for publicity and marketing then they should put their money where their mouth is and give a dollar for dollar, uncapped matched donation to the causes that they (supposedly) support, especially when they expect their customers to donate. They do this to make themselves look charitable when, in fact, they are giving next to nothing of their own money to the cause. Please still donate donate because the hospital needs these donations. When Walmart asks you for donations you should ask " how much is Walmart giving? You will be surprised that most associates have no idea. I had to speak with a manager to find out. read more
