This afternoon, I phoned this location and spoke to a very competent young lady, Madison. I asked about electric knives, she said the store did sell them. She found them while on the phone with me. She told me exactly where to find them, gave me the brand and the information that they were on sale. What a pleasant young lady. I drove to the store, found the electric knives, and checked out. I asked for her at Customer Service, she was right there. I told her how much I appreciated her efforts and the explicit directions that were perfect. This made such a difference in my experience. Hang on to this young lady - she is going places for sure. (Yesterday, I was in the same store, looking for the same item. I did not see them, and asked two individuals if Canadian Tire sold electric knives. One young lady said "No" no offer to check the website or anything, just "No". The other young lady indicated that she was still in 'training' - this is understandable, however she also did not offer to look on the website. ) In short: Madison, is a young person who needs to be nurtured and provided with support. The receipt printed out and all but the staff whose name is Jewel said Walmart MasterCard isn't accepted at the moment and she pointed out the unnoticeable sign that says it. She said "you're crashing my machine!" She seemed upset and not being polite. "Well, i didn't see the sign" I said. I saw 2 other customers had the same situation. I understand it's upsetting Jewel if it happens all the time to her but if that's the case, They should have posted the sign conspicuously before the checkout entrance visible to customers not just that little sign way above the machine.
