Man, I learned my lesson trying to buy tires from Walmart.com and having them installed at the auto center. DON'T DO IT! They fubbed my order, canceled my first service appointment because they didn't think they had my tires (they did) and then wouldn't install them when I showed up for my second service appointment, having come from 80 miles away, because they said they weren't paid for. I showed them the credit card statement showing their charge, paid in full, from 2 days ago! Still wouldn't do it because they said the order was canceled? Who canceled it? I didn't cancel it. Why was it canceled? Was it really canceled? I'm not trying to scam anybody, I just want to buy some tires. Hey, I'm not going to force these guys to take my business and my money- clearly they don't deserve it. The store manager offered no help.
Bottom line- this has been a total waste of my time and the incompetency of the Walmart staff prevents them solving even the smallest problem or providing any sort of accommodating customer service. I learned my lesson and made a mistake that won't be repeated.
I went to a local shop and was taken care of with no issue. I should have done that the first time around. read more
