I needed some typical things that travelers need, and decided to stop at this Walgreen's which is…read morequite near our hotel. The store was not very busy. A staff person greeted me, and expertly answered my questions as to where to locate the products I needed. Walking the aisles, I found the store to be very well organized, neat and clean. The manager should be proud. In other words, a successful shopping foray.

I'm going to try to sound as respectful as possible, but everyone working the morning shift today…read morewas rude as fuck. If you don't know how to provide basic customer service or speak to people respectfully, you probably shouldn't be working in customer service. I placed a pickup order yesterday for some Maybelline products. Of course, the concealer I received was already open and looked like someone had used almost all of it. I called the store around 7:30 last night and specifically asked if I could come in the morning to return or exchange it. I was told yes, as long as I had my receipt. So I come in this morning, and suddenly I'm being told they can't do anything without a physical receipt. I explained that it was a pickup order and showed them the information from my order. The woman working at the front counter was extremely rude and told me she wasn't going to do the return because the transaction was underneath her name. She literally turned the register around and showed me that she was logged into it. At that point, I asked for a manager. The manager comes around the corner huffing and puffing, and I explain the situation again. I had purchased two Maybelline products that were part of a buy-one-get-one promotion, plus a $5 off promotion. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--I simply wanted to exchange the defective/open concealer for another color or return it. Instead, they were trying to charge me full price for the replacement product, completely ignoring the promotion that was applied to my original purchase. The entire issue was over a $7 product, but the way I was spoken to was completely unacceptable. I am NOT someone who normally complains, but I will not stand there and be belittled or made to feel like I'm dumb as fuck when I've worked in customer service for 15 years and know exactly how you're supposed to speak to customers. I have already called corporate, and I will be getting the general manager's information and making a formal complaint. I don't give a fuck who you are--if you work in customer service, you need to treat the people spending their money at your store with basic respect. The product being defective was frustrating enough. The attitude from the employees was what really made this experience unacceptable.

I have a very small dog (less than 3 lbs) who has very severe seizures due to a heart problem. She…read morehas to be on a Phenobarbital Elixir to control them. Previously, I was getting a premixed version of the medicine from Walgreens. I had been calling in her refill for over a week and she was down to just a few drops not even a full dose. They didn't seem to care and was definitely not in any hurry to fill her medicine, which I can only assume is because she's a dog. Of course, she goes into a full blown seizure, one of the worst I've ever seen. Her seizures last sometimes for 12 to 18 hours. Walgreen's couldn't transfer her medication to any other pharmacy because of the classification of the medicine. My vets office and I were both frantically calling every possible pharmacy within 3 counties. No where had the medication in stock. Finally, my vet got in touch with Moss Compounding Pharmacy aka The Pharmacy and they realized how dire our situation was but they also did not have the premixed medication in stock either but they said they could make it for her. I had no idea at the time how much of a blessing this all actually was. As soon as I administered my dog Moss's compounded elixir to her for the very first time her seizure actually stopped. Little did I know that the premixed version wasn't even helping to combat the seizures nor was it helping her when she was suffering a seizure. It was just drugging her into a daily fog that made her miserable. She would run and cry from the premixed version because the taste was so overwhelmingly bad, much worse than any terrible tasting cough syrup you can imagine. Since, Moss has been compounding her medication she doesn't even have to take it twice a day to prevent seizures. Since she is a registered support animal she is with me all the time and I know exactly what it looks like before she goes into a seizure so I am now able to just administer her the medication as needed and now since I can do it this way she has not once gone into a full seizure in almost 7 months. She isn't in a drugged hazy state all the time which allows her to do her job as my support animal. She's so much healthier and happier. She gets to run and play again and not spend her entire day sleeping. She doesn't even get upset about taking her medication because it doesn't taste bad. It barely has any taste at all except a hint of orange flavor. Moss Compounding Pharmacy showed me and her real compassion and that she was just as important and not just a dog or another prescription number. They also gave her back so much better quality of life and by her quality of life improving so has mine. Thank you Moss Compounding Pharmacy and the staff at The Pharmacy.
