Bordering a Sam's Club (#1), it is strategically located near the Marina in the heart of Zona Hotelera and the Marina Vallarta (#2). Besides buying cheap'ish PV trinkets, magnets, memorabilia, this also serves as a place for toiletries, personal supplies, and even the occasional emergency beachwear. Americans love the place even more when they find it's excellent for air conditioning, accepts credit cards, has bathrooms and ATMs. What they don't have is good customer service. Quality interactions at Walmart should never be expected but the effort seems to be minimal across the board. A few other things to know is that the pricing is on part with the US and there are no fitting areas. Lastly, what's a Walmart without immense parking? There are plenty of spots, but it's not free. The 24 hour lot is $12MXN per hour and lost tickets can cost as much as $80MXN. Leave the bus stop for locals and the walking for the rest. We swung by and ended up with a cart full of stuff that I swear would have cost us $600+ back home, but somehow only ran us $387 here. Was wild...and impressive! We were able to stock up on all the things from meats, eggs, tortillas, snacks, drinks, cups, etc...only thing we were a tad disappointed in was the liquor selection and the fact that they did not have any spray sun block. This place was busy, even for a Thursday morning. Locals and tourists alike, but they kept the lines moving! Costco is the spot. No major complaints. Great location for us, stellar store and trip!

My mom and my grandma would always go to the one in Downtown L.A.; I always looked forward to those trips because we would have pizza there and I would almost always leave with a toy. Finding this store in the middle of Puerto Vallarta was surreal because I thought they ceased to exist in the 90s. This store looks just like it did back then, and I was glad to shop here once more.
