It's just a given, and now has become second nature. A couple of the gas pumps were out of order for some reason, which wasn't a problem today, as there are plenty of gas pumps to choose from. Lots of parking available, with a side benefit of having a fast food restaurant right inside. My daughter bought me a brownie while I was pumping gas, and I have to say that was the freshest brownie I've had in a long time. I made a mental note to get one on the way back home in a few days.

The whole store is, really. But that's part of the "small town" charm, I suppose. I'd give it four stars if not for the service. The folks behind the counter seem tired, grumpy and unhappy to be there. I understand, it might get old dealing with people day in and out. We will likely continue to visit here any time we are passing through on our way to Emery County. Especially as long as they keep the ice cream.

Randy's came up on the map, and we made our way over. It's a small gas station, but has a pump outside, which is referenced many times in other reviews as being a "lifesaver" as well as a modest inventory of snacks. We bought a few ice cream treats from the freezer and candy to add to our road trip menu and then we were on our way. The nice lady at the counter was chipper and friendly. There's plenty of space at the end pumps, making it easy to get in and out, and you can drive around the back for a smooth exit. The entrance and exit have a slight grade, but it's manageable if you take it slow. A convenient and RV-friendly stop -- we'll definitely use this location again while traveling through Wellington!

We had a brake failure in the wilds of Castle Country and AAA refused to come. (Many of Utah's roads are not paved, and AAA seems welded to paved roads. We called Carrillo Towing, and Mark said that he'd meet us in 45 minutes. He arrived on time, put our 4Runner on his flatbed, and took us 130 miles to SLC for repairs. Great guy, who turned what could have been a real bummer of an afternoon and evening into just another adventure for our memories.

My wife and I were car camping 3 miles south of I-70 in a juniper and pinyon loose sand camping spot. We awoke to a very much unforcasted snow storm. 10 inches of 33 degree wet heavy snow and falling heavily. Because we knew that when the snow melted, it would saturate the sand making it literally impossible to drive on.So we wanted out quick. We drove but the snow obscured the sand road and we nose dived into a ditch and could not retreat. Called Tina at Steele, she learned our plight and sent out Mike with a tracked skid steer. After some tricky locating, he pulled us out and, using the compacted snow tracks he made, we were able to drive to I-70 before melt. In addition to the facts, it was Mike's commitment to finding us and insuring our safety that was so comforting. Tina kept in touch and even checked in with us much later in the day. Hope you don't need them, but if you do, you be well cared for.

But there isn't any gas stations for miles coming from Colorado. Has all you need, highlight was the estimated 12 year old cashier. I could be wrong, but then again it's Green River and they can do what they want. ;)

The employees were nowhere to be found. It was bad enough that I contemplated leaving $3 cash for my energy drink with a note what it was for, but then finally an older lady appeared and helped get me checked out. If I were the management of the store I would definitely make sure to staff this place better. It would've been easy for many customers to grab and dash if they wanted. Bottom line: I would still stop by again. They have gas, restrooms, cold drinks, snacks, etc. It could be worse, but it could definitely be better too.
