I've been recommending Julie Corrado as a realtor over the past 10+ years to clients, friends, and…read morefamily members planning on selling or buying a home. Julie has a team of experts and licensed contractors that she works with closely who has always been a go-to for improvements made within my house until I sold recently. I have attended several of Julie's home buying and selling preparation seminars where she discusses "getting your home ready for a sale" and has benefitted highly from these sessions. I slowly improved the home that would produce the greatest return on investments to a potential buyer. This past Fall, I decided to sell my home after 13 years, and Julie sent over her staging team to make affordable recommendations and yield the best results. The house was listed in the Winter and was sold in less than 3 days. Working with Julie was like a partnership and a comfortable process. She educated me every step of the process and allowed me to make the decisions that positioned me to sell the home for $50K over what the last home sold on my street a few months prior. My home sold for a record high compared to other houses on the same street. I never felt the need to compromise or felt forced into settling - the offers were multiple. The Corrado Team and Julie's especially have developed an art and science about the process of selling a home effectively. I have great pride and feel a sense of comfort sending any future home buyers or sellers to her. I never have to follow through because her process is consistent, and the experience is long-term.

The next day my sales agent called and told me the deadline for offers had been extended an extra day because the original listing agent (Kristine Heenan) is no longer involved. The reason was the original listing agent now wanted to bid on the condo - AFTER SHE HAD ALREADY SEEN EVERYONE ELSE'S BIDS AND TERMS!!! Rocko Sanzo, the broker's vice president see's no issue with this behavior! TOTALLY UNETHICAL!!!!! I will be filing a formal complaint with the National Realtor's Association.

After all set and done. My offer was accepted. My wife and I signed the contract and we worked with the sellers regarding their terms. The next day, I get a call from my agent stating that the buyers received a better offer with no inspections. In other words the agent wants me to buy a half a million dollar house and not do an inspection. What he did is not fair, not only for me but every person looking for a home. If a contract was signed and all final offers were in, why did he continue to receive offers. He gave us the contract and also his word. I guess we can't trust anything he says. A contract and most importantly your word should mean something, but I guess not everyone follows the same rules. My advice is to not do business with Brian Burke. When they accepted the offer my wife and I got really excited because after two years we found our house, to then get the call stating that they gave it to someone else. Imagine the disappointment. He instead of taking other offers, he should have discussed with us if we wanted to match or do something different to accommodate us since we had a signed contract.

Selling our home was no easy feat, as we faced numerous trials and tribulations along the way. From unexpected repairs to navigating complicated negotiations, Quincy was there every step of the way. We cannot recommend Quincy enough! From the very beginning she was a powerhouse, incredibly professional, and knowledgeable. The photos, drone footage and virtual staging was wonderful, it had us seriously reconsidering moving at all. Quincy's marketing strategy was so impressive and proactive, she even listed our house in print from NYC to Maine after it went under contract a second time. To our surprise, we had interested parties that drove to see our home from both locations. Quincy is truly dedicated and possesses a deep understanding of the real estate market, VA regulations, and a fantastic team of vendors that were eager to push whatever was needed ahead of other schedules because of their working relationship with Quincy. Quincy always available to answer our many questions day and night. She went above and beyond, ensuring that every detail was taken care of throughout the entire process as there were many obstacles throughout this sale. She even repainted an outdoor structure, inside fireplace reinstalling detectors, and removing some furniture left behind, selling our kayaks, as we had already left Connecticut. We never expected this from a realtor. Quincy's unwavering dedication and expertise truly stood out. It was an emotional process once our home did sell to a fantastic family, but more so thus ending our unique relationship in this respect with Quincy.
