He helped deconstruct complicated construction language so that a regular person could understand and this was priceless for me as a first time home buyer. Art was blunt with his concerns on the property and enlightened me to potential hazardous materials that were not disclosed initially by the sellers and their agent. But as all teachers do, Art recommended several solutions for the issue ensuring me that the property would be safe if I wanted to proceed with the purchase. I met Art a few years ago walking my dogs. Not only is he good with animals but he's great with people. Art did my walk through before I sold my condo in 2018 and after he was done, I was able to get over $400,000 asking price because he worked closely with my real estate agent to get the job done. If he wasn't as thorough as he was, I don't think I would've gotten as high of a price. He pointed out key repair issues that even my real estate agent had overlooked and saved me money for a job and could potentially affect my asking price if I had gone somewhere else. He took care of it immediately so when the time came, my property was spic and span. Art is definitely a people person. Unfortunately we had a less than satisfying experience with Arthur. If I could give no stars I would . As first time home owners we put our trust in the fact that the inspector would have our best interest at heart. Sadly Arthur failed to inform us of very obvious issues with the house ( rotten window sills on all 11 windows, rotten door frame, several rotten planks of wood siding ....) which will cost us thousands of dollars to fix . We were unable to have the sellers fix these issues or come down in the price due to the inspection report only stating one window and one well water pump needed fixing. We had given Arthur a chance to at the very least reimburse us for a botched inspection but he has failed to do so . Who knows what other problems with the house he overlooked as we are only one month in. Can not recommend this business at all sadny read more

Had a great experience with Arthur "Art" from Walk through NY. I have referred him to friends and family in the past and recently used him for a home inspection for my own purchase. He was excellent! Very professional and nice person . He did check for all requirements and also radon gas which usually some people don't do it and later on can be problem.
