Hubby & I were headed down to Tampa on a road trip about a year ago when we first stopped in here & saw the beachy inventory with the seashell wind chimes. Hubby bought moi one of the seashell wind chime to go in my garden. It's been hanging outside all year long, it has a great sound & is doing great. I'm actually thinking about getting another one next trip! Will return! :))

There's a roadside statue outside called Johnny Donutseed holding a donut. His other arm used to hold a cup of coffee but is missing. On my last visit I wanted to buy the two local newspapers, but they wouldn't sell them. They said I had to put money in a can instead. I had no change. I'm not clear on why a place that sells stuff won't sell newspapers inside their store. I'll be writing a letter to Johnny Donutseed about this.

Inside I found all sorts of local items, like a variety of flavored nuts, hot sauces, and jams. I was even able to find a hot sauce that my local area stopped carrying a couple of years ago, and I really missed it. That and a bag of nuts were to be had, and I have enjoyed both. Reading through the other posts about this place, I have to say that Melissa was just as helpful as everyone else has said. Definitely worth the stop! Thank you for being there!

In fact, the owners kindly let my friend and I bring in our very fuzzy hot dogs so we didn't have to leave them in the car. The owner also made small talk and made me feel very comfortable even though I am very different than them. I bought some very yummy fried garlic and Cajun peanuts, cashew brittle and a sweet tasty watermelon. Plus the Pepsi delivery man was very handsome and kind, I miss him already. Can't wait to stop through here again.
