Some attorneys handle your case, but a truly exceptional attorney stands beside you and your family…read moreevery step of the way. Michael Rott is that kind of attorney. I am the applicant's wife, and I will always be grateful to Michael for what he did for my husband and our family during his very difficult California workers' compensation case, which ultimately resulted in a seven-figure settlement with lifetime benefits. My husband suffered a serious head injury in the course of his employment, leading to a very difficult California workers' compensation case. From the moment Michael took over the case, he fought relentlessly for my husband. He never made us feel alone or forgotten. He personally gave us his phone number and remained accessible by phone and email, even on weekends. Whenever we had a question or concern, he responded quickly and always took the time to guide and reassure us. Before Michael, we had another workers' compensation attorney for approximately a year, but unfortunately, there had been very little meaningful progress. When we first spoke with founding partner David Hidden during our initial case assessment, we immediately felt that we had found people who genuinely cared about our family. Michael and David ultimately did exactly what they told us they would do. Although we live approximately 500 miles from San Diego, we never felt the distance. We were always just a phone call, text, or email away. Michael's dedication, knowledge, persistence, and compassion made an extraordinary difference. He didn't simply represent my husband--he stood up for him, fought for him, and stood beside our entire family during one of the most difficult periods of our lives. I cannot thank Michael enough for everything he has done for our family. He is an exceptional attorney, Michael Rott and the firm without hesitation.

His communication is beyond amazing. I could text him directly and he would respond within an hour if not right away. If we needed to talk, he always made time for it. I can say that Mr. Dougherty and Hiden, Rott & Oertle got me the best medical care, a great surgeon and a fair settlement. I know this, better than to be expected result, because a co-worker was injured about a month after me with a similar shoulder injury. He had no representation and I can say, conclusively, my treatement was better, my result better and my case settled before his. Without Mr. Dougherty's help none of this would have been the case. I cannot heap enough praise on Brian Dougherty and Hiden, Rott & Oertle. My deepest grattitude for their hard work on my behalf.
