The Spazmatics rockin' the house at 2016 White Light White Night!
    Arnold S.

Nick, Page and the entire team at Walk With Sally do amazing work providing mentoring programs for children who have lost a parent to cancer or whose parent is currently battling cancer. I don't know any other organization like it. I became involved when my son was invited to be a "celebrity" judge at one of their events earlier in the year. I was so touched by the organization that I offered assistance booking the headline entertainment for their largest fundraising event of the year...White Light White Night (http://www.walkwithsally.org/wlwn/). If you have never been, you have to go next year! Food and drink tastings from the South Bay's top restaurants, amazing entertainment, a fantastic auction (I donated a guitar autographed by OneRepublic this year), and the smiles on the faces of the program's children...what a special night! Keep up the awesome work!!! Looks like it's for rich white people it don't look like they try to really reach out to the ones that are in low income money

The sound system is great quality, and the clubhouse is modern and clean. Since the space can be decorated to your needs, this venue has flexible usage for any celebrations, birthdays, baby showers, receptions, fundraisers, photoshoots, team activities, etc. I've seen a Hammitt handbag sample sale here, and the South Bay Boardriders host their Pre-Catalina Race party too with a taco truck, movie screening, live band, and more. There's a kitchen in the back with food warmers as well, multiple bathrooms, and a very accommodating front entrance that opens up. The venue is a reasonable price, and fees support the woman's club (which has been integral to the South Bay since 1909), so they go back into the community. Highly recommend considering as a venue for your next big event in MB!

Very kind, patient ( I asked a lot of questions ), detailed & prompt. Gail was very helpful with our walkthrough of the center and checklist requirements. One thing to note is to be respectful of rules provided to maintain the space as well as the community, the beautiful center is in the middle of a residential area. So please be mindful of others and hold your guests accountable. Overall an incredible experience 10/10. I will definitely plan for other celebrations of life here.

Please do NOT support this agency.!…read more One of our cats got out. Took a few days to find out it had been picked up by our local Animal Control. After just 5 days they transferred it to a Rescue. The process was so secretive that Animal Control would not even tell me the name of the rescue service. After some serious digging I found out the cat had been transferred to Rover Rescue. They're almost 900 miles away even though we have several rescues within 50 miles. I immediately called Rover Rescue and found out they did have the cat and that it will be going to an adoption event this weekend. They REFUSED to tell me where the event was being held. I wasn't trying to get preferential treatment. I just wanted to have an equal opportunity to re-adopt this cat that has lived with me for the last year and a half and they refused to tell me where it was. Clearly they are not interested in getting animals back with loving families. I really hope it ends up with a good family but it was a stray I took off the streets. It had settled into our family very well. Now they are going to make the cat go through that again. It's also very concerning to me about how secretive the process is, even the name of the organization. Don't know anything about them except today's very inadequate interaction but that level of secrecy is not a good sign.

I can't tell you how much I hoped the rescue wouldn't pick her up and she'd be all mine. But Rover Rescue did come to her rescue. I called them minutes after finding out she had left the shelter. I had to leave a message and I figured I'd get the ball rolling and fill out the application. Kathy returned my call promptly we spoke about the dog. And several days later I picked up my girl from the Vet. Kathy was very helpful and thoughtful with her advice. Foxy came with a leash and a collar and we were given a bag of food to get us started. I love this organization, they do amazing work rescuing IMO the most adorable pooches. I want another one but I don't think Ms. Foxy is ready for a buddy quite yet. IMO the rescue fee is comparable and totally fair. You get a itemized list of all the fees they pay while the dog in their care. You don't have an obligation to pay those fees but it really did show me how much money it does take to save these animals.
