very unprofessional and arrogant the pharmacist is. He was rude and condescending I will not trust him to fill anyone's prescription

The Pharmacy part is a mess once again. I don't have my asthma medicine walk to Walgreens from my apartment said it was in a box but they hadn't opened it yet and then I got a text message saying it's not even in the building again and it's already late Always happens with my medicines so sad read more

I had to switch pharmacies because of my insurance and thought I'd go here because the location is somewhat convenient, and it always seems busy. I'm sorry I did. It took four visits to the Pharmacy before I was able to get my prescriptions. First visit I stood in line then gave them my information and I was told it would be ready in a couple of hours. When I went back it was not ready and I was told it would not be ready until Monday. This was a Friday. I called before the third visit and was told by the incredibly annoying AI (never able to get a human on the line) that my prescriptions were ready for pickup. Yet when I went to the store they were not ready. So I had to go back a fourth time. It will be the last time. I will transfer it before I refill it there. One of the women who helped me obviously never learned Customer Service. There's a polite way to say could you repeat that, and it's not "I can't hear you." And their pickup window has horrible glare at certain times of day and you can't even see who you're talking to. Color me not impressed. read more

WORST Cust Svc EVER (even worse than the airlines) Waiting ON TIME for our appt when a woman who stated " I am 1/2 hr LATE " was taken ahead of us !!! When I asked why we were being PENALIZED due to her tardiness....ALL the employees were very rude and disrespectful !!!! Especially the red head girl @ pharmacy read more

Pharmacy was SLOW aaand I wondered if I had been forgotten as I waited about 40 minutes without any communication after giving my prescription. No one reassured me that I would eventually served . Once it was my turn everything went well. read more

Pharmacy staff was overwhelmed and tried to help point me in the right direction for what I was looking for but didn't have time to engage properly with my needs. read more

My insurance provider changed my pharmacy from CVS to Walgreen's a couple of years ago. I had no pharmacy preference and the drug stores are next door to each other so no big deal. I never had any issue with CVS. These are a few of my experiences with Walgreen's Always a longer line at the drive through window. Online prescription ordering is hit and miss. I have waited twenty minutes in line to find out my prescription wan not ready as the app confirmed it was. Called to arrange for shingles and pneumonia shot. After much back and forth about times and uncertainty they told me I could come in that evening. I said I preferred day time and could come another day. That resulted in more confusion. I finally gave up and thanked them and called CVS, since it wasn't through insurance I had that option. The CVS person said sure, you can come now. I did so and it was that simple. Lastly, and most frustrating is their communication with my doctor's office when they ask for prescription renewal. More than once they have accused the doctor's office of not responding resulting in a delay. I had my doctor for twenty-five years and never a pre-Walgreen's issue. The last time this happened I called the office asking for assistance. I said there was no reason to call me back but the nurse did so anyway. She told me that she personally called Walgreen's and told me when. I absolutely believe her. I can't say if Walgreen's was lying to cover their failure or if they are incompetent but it concerns me that a pharmacy that provides potentially dangerous meds would be so inefficient or dishonest. read more

I went in Sunday afternoon and bought several bottles of nail polish. There were several yellow stickers saying it was 99 cents, but when I got home I had been charged $3.50 per bottle. This is fraudulent and I will not shop there anymore read more

The young lady at the register was rude and said I was doing something behind another doctors back. I had filled a 2 week Rx, one week ago, and it wasn't working. My primary doctor said to destroy what was left of the old medicine and start the new medication that day. That's exactly what I did. Then Walgreens made and issue where there was no issue before. They 'supposedly' called the first doctor who 'supposedly' said I couldn't have the Rx yet. I called that doctor and they said they knew nothing about it. After I told walgreens that, they said, ''even if I was Right, that they wouldn't overrule the pharmacist that made that decision" WOW, Really? So, I'm right and they would NOT fix the issue. I went back to the prescribing doctor and they cancelled the rx at walgreens and sent it to Oneals in Washington and it was filled within 15 min. Please anyone in Washington, NC, take you business to another pharmacy. They also violated the "Hippa Laws 2020" by saying everything loud enough Everyone behind me could hear every word. They should have pulled me to the side... before wrongly accusing me of Fraud, Doctor Shopping and trying to make me out to be a drug addict. If anyone broke the Law here, It was THEM. read more

I cannot stand this Walgreens. I sent my 3 month prescription to this Walgreens, after moving to Washington for a brief 3 month stay. Every time I have gone to refill it, there has been a "problem." Ive had to wait days to get my medicine. Good thing they are anti psychotics and not life saving drugs... They are just too busy to handle anything. If you need a prescription, fill it at CVS. I will never fill another percription here. read more

Just a bad place. You have to experience it to know what I'm talking about. Go ahead and call to speak to a pharmacist. They have a bad way of picking up the phone and putting you back on hold over and over again. Want to go inside, if the long line doesn't get you, them asking you to step over to the next window will. Point is there is no body attending the next window and no one is going to acknowledge you are standing there. Wow. Take the drive thru you say, well if the wait don't kill you the not having your drug in stock and have to wait for them to order will. What a lovely waist of time this Walgreens is. read more

The manager Jessica is unethical rude unprofessional and way oversteps her bounds she thinks she knows more than the doctors do about your medication and I have medicine that I cannot go without or miss a dose and it was due last Monday and I got lied to 3 days in a row saying it was being filled then Wednesday I was told that the person who sent my prescription in the doctor used his the wrong ID number ! That was a lie cuz I called the doctor and found out that that was a bold-faced lie then I finally get her on the phone and she says that she cannot feel my prescription till she talks to all the doctors involved and last month she made my husband wait 2 weeks for his blood pressure medicine this b**** does not care and I'm telling you she is going to kill somebody if she does not get out of this position if you got medicine that you need to take that you cannot miss a dose do not go to this Walgreens they hang up on you they never answer the phone until you have at least been on hold for an hour or you have to threaten them with a lawyer I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau I have reported them to Walgreens corporate and I'm not going to stop until Jessica is fired read more

Service at this Walgreens has declined drastically over the last year. Long lines, longer wait times. Manager blames it on under staffing. But says it won't change. Doesnt seem concerned. CVS here I come. read more

I love this walgreens! It's so convenient being across from the hospital, and being open 24/7. And the employees are much nicer than the ones at cvs. Always a walgreens shopper! read more

This Walgreens is always busy at the front and in the pharmacy. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, store is clean and product is easily located. There is always someone close by to answer my questions and help me with my needs. There are lines and I have to wait longer then I wish sometimes but it's worth it knowing they are making sure my medications are right. After all they are dealing with people's lives. read more
