On the evening of Thursday, June 20, 2024, the pharmacist on duty displayed unprofessional behavior. I waited at the drive-through window for approximately ten minutes, and someone announced over the speaker that they would assist me shortly. I patiently passed the time by listening to YouTube. When the pharmacist eventually approached the window, I turned off my video and looked up, only to see him walk away and sit at a desk to shuffle papers. After a while, he abruptly stood up, approached the window, threw his hands up, and loudly asked, "Are you here to pick up a prescription?" It wasn't just the words he used but his tone and demeanor that were unprofessional. I affirmed that I was there to pick up a prescription. He then began speaking on the phone, but I couldn't hear him as the speaker wasn't on. It seemed he was frustrated that I had been watching YouTube despite it being a way to occupy my time while waiting. His body language and facial expressions conveyed his annoyance. We had to raise our voices to communicate since I couldn't hear him initially. I appreciate that Walgreens has a drive-through; it eliminates the need to stand in line, but if I have to wait in my car, I have the right to listen to music or YouTube to occupy my time. That is no reason for the pharmacist to convey annoyance. Except for this pharmacist the employees are consistently friendly and helpful. read more

Called to see if they had my medicine in stock. Sat on hold for 5 minutes before someone picked up and asked me to hold. Three minutes later, someone picked up and said "SIR YOUR PRESCRIPTION WILL BE READY TOMORROW" and immediately put it back on hold. Not even a hello? And I'm not a sir I'm currently at 24 minuted and 7 seconds waiting. read more

Beware. This place is so understaffed that they are making mistakes. If you value your life I would stay away.

The pharmacy technicians are incredibly rude, they have a poor attitude and the place is badly staffed. The pharmacy closes whenever they feel like it so you can't get your medicine. I will be having my pharmacy needs taken care of elsewhere by more qualified and more professional people. read more

Most disorganized pharmacy to the point of being dangerous. After waiting 30 minutes for a specific appointment time to get a Covid vax, the pharmacist took us to a room for the injection. Thankfully, having observed the chaos in the pharmacy and just to be sure, I asked if the shots were for Covid. He looked perplexed and admitted that they were both for the flu. After a few more minutes, he returned with the correct injections (I hope). The staff are disorganized. As we waited, we observed the main saleslady at the counter being rude and condescending to customers. Another thing...when you actually advertise appointment times for customers to get vaccinations, it doesn't seem appropriate to take two people ahead who happened to come in three minutes before and explain to the person with the appointment that they take people first come first served. That kinda defeats the whole idea of APPOINTMENTS. All together, we would never do business with Walgreens. read more

Wow. I operated the NYC and DC/MD/VA Regional Training locations which housed the East Coast VP offices for 2 seperate competitors who are not easily accessible to this area. I was also FE trainer for many of these locations, both unioned and non-unioned, and have multiple Mid-Upper level contacts within Walgreens itself. With that said, we're currently on an extended visit in Valdosta GA and had my Husband's long time Rx's were sent to this location over 3wks ago. With Walgreens being the most easily accessible for the area we figured this would be the best option as we wanted to avoid competitors such as Publix/Wal-Mart. He just got one filled a wk ago and is still waiting on another one. Additionally, syringes are required for one Rx. At 1st this location tried to charge him full price for the syringes stating the "NDC was not on file with 3rd Party" strongly indicating they never called in to the Insurance (Tri-Care) to find out which type was covered before filling the Rx. When my Husband inquired about this the Tech Kenya aggressively stated repeatedly that neither she nor anyone at the Pharmacy was going to call the Insurance as this was our responsibility and this type was the only option. After calling Tri-Care ourselves, and subsequently many calls with this location later, did they say they would place an order for the actual covered syringes. This was on a Friday, after already waiting 2-3wks, it's the following Wed and they still haven't filled the order. When we called them on Tues they said they just placed the order for the syringes that day. We understand the challenges Covid has created with quality/over worked workforces as well as shipping/handling, my Husband is a 1st Responder and I'm in Legal/Law Services, however the concerns with this location aren't regarding anything that is not within control of the individuals at the Pharmacy. The overall blasé attitude, lack of communication and escalating behavior indicates much more than simply Covid challenges. A male employee consistently complains about how annoying the demand for Covid Vaccines are, Ms. Kenya consistently has an attitude of inconvenience and the overall service is mind boggling for a lower volume location. Even Mom & Pop shops have higher service/standards than this location. The clear lack of training, responsibility and accountability are a strong indicator of the overall Mid-Upper FE/Pharmacy management. The long term consistent feedback on service is also a clear indicator that this is not a new or uncommon concern. Considering that Pharmacy brings in the bulk of profit, this also highlights the Company's lack of overall care/concern for the location as well as the subsequent image it projects for Walgreens as a whole. However, the truly embarrassing thing about all of this is how preventable it was. Had we researched the location first we would have never have utilized it in the first place. read more

if I could give the pharmacy a negative score, I would. They close whenever they want. They do not keep regular hours. The outside of the actual building is covered in mold. it's just disgusting. read more

The pharmacy staff at this location have been extremely rude and disrespectful every time I have gone there. They act like they are better than you and have attitudes. I have gone five times now and have had an bad experience every time. No more Walgreens, Publix pharmacy is better and cheaper. read more

The pharmacy is terrible. They talk in the back rarely paying attention to their customers who are waiting in line. Drive through seems to be paid more attention to. I will refrain from using this pharmacy again. Overall bad customer experience. read more

This store is poorly run. Last week I stood in line at the pharmacy about 30 min with a mob of angry customers being turned away for unfilled prescriptions. Today I went to find a sign on the front door of the store saying the pharmacy is closed, sorry for the inconvenience. It's not a holiday. I went to pick up my photo order and was told it was cancelled because the machine that does larger sizes is broken... I had ordered an 8x10. On the way out the door the clerk was nicely handling a line of ten customers! No help. Wasted trip altogether for me. By the way I'll be transferring my prescriptions to Publix, where shopping is a pleasure. read more

Sent some photos to Baytree location in Valdosta from out of town today for my Great Grandmother. She got a neighbor to drive her over to pick them up, she currently lives alone and has mobility issues but she was so excited to get the kids school pictures to put on her wall. Adam refused to give her the photos and when I called he told me he'd be happy to trash them. It's too bad I loved hitting the makeup sales and now I'll have to switch where I get my scripts. read more

Terrible attitudes in this store and not a great couponing place. The walgreens on Ashley street has a better staff. There is one employee at this store that will help you and be very courteous to you. Dont know her name but seriously wish I had a position available in my business for her. She is a wonderful customer service person. But the store managers should have apparently gotten more sleep on black Friday because they were horrid. Will only shop here again if in dire need on this side of town. read more
