Poor medication delivery system. Needed medication were ordered midday but never filled prolonging infection. I have been picking up other medications over the year and a few times experienced other customers being told that their medicines were not available. Its so disappointing when a business as well known as Walgreens doesn't have their ducks in a row. On line it clearly says Walgreens is a USPS drop off location provided they have a FedEx counter. Not one person in the store including the manager on duty is aware of this at the Walgreens I just went to. Ive even mailed USPS from this Walgreens in Utica square before, but today I can't. You can drop off Fedex at this location but they are telling me"nope" on the USPS. The staff is looking at me like I'm crazy. I told them to read about it on line. Very convenient to St Johns being across the street. It has the usual - cards to pharmacy and various food items. Stock of drinks and allergy meds etc were seriously depleted with a number of entirely empty shelves to the disappointment of a number of store customers. On the other hand, they are giving the COVID vaccine, and a young couple who had a little one in the NICU was able to schedule mom's first jab for that day, to their very significant relief. Hopefully as the shortages become less prevalent the store will be able to stock up, since other pharmacies seem to have the goods. read more

The kid behind the pharmacy counter was super rude, acted like he was doing me some favor. I smiled. I was nice. He didn't pay attention to what we were and and rang me up wrong, doubled my total. I don't know what his problem was. He seemed like he was mad at me before he even knew I was there. Just unhappy to be at work and letting it show The whole experience was a bummer. read more

Renovated former location of Med-ex. Not as big as most Walgreens, but have the usual stuff. Employees change, but most are helpful. If you call, be prepared to be on hold awhile. If you take RX in, be prepared to wait awhile. Thank goodness they have stuff to make you well, when you feel bad. If you need a snack, they every sugar flavored calories you want, as well as salty snacks. They have a few refrigerated cases. Walgreens definitely has high prices. read more

Vivian was pharmacy cashier today. She couldn't have been more UN friendly. Didn't greet us, never smiled, whispered so soft we had to ask her to repeat everything she said. This particular Walgreens is so convenient! I love walking over and grabbing what I need when I'm in Utica Square. Parking is never really an issue, and you get a chance to see what is going on in Utica Square like concerts, holiday lights, new restaurants, etc. I gave it three stars because this Walgreens is also my pharmacy. They are chronically understaffed, and the line tends to be rather long. Luckily, more of the pharmacists and staff are friendly, which makes up for it. I would be strategic about when you visit to pick up any prescriptions or use the app to skip the line. read more

This walgreens is always clean and well organized it seem like. The pharmacist was very helpful and showed me the option available OTC and how to take care of my eyes. This place is bad for prescriptions! now normally i will not rate someone real bad but these people deserve it... not only from my experience but when my doctor says that they lose prescriptions, they said that the 4 people in front of me prescriptions were never called in, they mess up my girlfriends prescription and it took her an hour and a half to sort it out, and then i come back two times in 2 days to get something that they "never received" and they blamed the doctor.... i was with him when he called in the script and all they said was well give us his number and we will call him. i just want to know where it went the first time he called it in? To top all of that off they are very rude and bitter. I HIGHLY recommend not sending your meds here, there are many other places to pick it up in the area. read more

They're still very nice and helpful, but I've noticed that there is always a wait. I have gone at midnight and still had to wait on a prescription I called in for. As well, they always seem to be out of whichever medicine I need and have to send me to another Walgreens location or substitute it with a similar brand of medication. read more

Nice staff and I think they try but my Rx is never filled correctly - even when I call and speak to an actual human on the phone and explain how my prescription needs to be filled. My insurance only covers half of my Rx so that's all they fill, even though I explain every time that I will pay the other half out of pocket. read more

Love this Walgreens but the associate named Olivia was not pleasant at all. Basically just told me my total.. no customer service involved whatsoever. I had to say thank you at the end, she barely mumbled thank you back. Her energy was like she didn't want to be there. Surprised because every associate in there is always very nice. read more
