I called my insurance company and they said it was filled there by the heb the day before. I checked to see if maybe it was at my old pharmacy (not because I sent it there just because I thought actually there may have been an old old prescription for the same drug from another doctor that was stopping ins from refilling it?) this is a brand new doctor and I have never told then anything about CVS. CVS seem to have a vague record of it in the system but it wasn't there. I went back to H-E-B and they said yes it was sent to CVS but they got it back via phone call . This prescription was never previously at cvs and i never switched to this CVS. I asked my doctor and they said they have zero record of anything to CVS on my behalf. I know I didn't ask for it to be sent away (why would I do that) and I trust that my doctor didn't because they have records i've never once mentioned CVS to my doctor. I can only surmise that H-E-B transferred it.

There were several days of back and forth between the pharmacy, the doctor, and my insurance but Tina was persistent and got it resolved. I do know this took her a lot of time, even outside of regular pharmacy hours, and several phone calls. She then stayed late to fill the prescription because she knew I had been in pain. When my husband picked up the prescription, she was very careful to show him exactly how to dispense the medicine and even provided some free gloves for him to apply it on my back. With each call, both Tina and Marcia were patient and considerate and seemed very concerned with getting some relief to me. I highly recommend them for regular or compounded prescriptions. I doubt you'll find more personal service.

I was tired of having to walk into a large understaffed store, wait for someone to notice me, and be treated like a number. Everyone at SP has been such a breathe of fresh air. I've never sent my prescriptions to a small pharmacy before, and wasn't sure what to expect. You walk in and someone notices you immediately. The owner / pharmacist is usually there and always has a smile on her face. She makes sure to let you know if there are any specific instructions about your medication, and give recommendations when asked. I truly will never go back to a big box pharmacy as long as I'm in this area. Dropping my my friendly neighborhood pharmacy has become such a joy and i truly enjoy my experience each time I'm in there. Would strongly recommend to anyone in the area needing a reliable place to send their medications, or stop by for any small 'drugstore aisle' need.
