After a lackluster experience at another Walgreens location in Champion Forest, this location and more specifically, Mrs Donna at the photo Department came through for my coworker redoing her passport photos, and even helping her to get a refund on the original ones that had a lot of glare to them. While waiting in line to checkout Deiontay had asked a customer in front of us whom which was a Hispanic man who did not understand English and Mr.Deiontay, for some reason, became very disrespectful and tease them and asked if you didn't know how to spell his name, but he just didn't know any English. We had given it to his attention that he is being very rude disrespectful to the fact that he is aware that he does not speak English. He then proceeds to backtalk us the entire time and me as a Walgreens worker whom I've worked for five years love this store, but have never been back. Talked for five minutes straight in line with three consecutive customers. Deiontay not only was being un polite, but by the way he came about the whole situation it looked racist. This happened at 11:29pm Sunday September 20. When it came from my time to check out, I simply wait to put in my Walgreens employee number and I see that he has not even try to bag any of my items after checking everything out for a little bit so I proceed to open the bag and then he grabs the bag and he says "I can bag it myself". Then I asked for his name I put in my Walgreens employee number for my discount. And I politely said thank you, and I heard him reply but only when I ended up up walking out the door. I highly suggest you talk to this young man or have some type disciplinary action for this really poor customer service. read more

I came in at 11:55 for some emergency medicine for my child since it's the closest store to my house and in such late notice, and they were already closed own there was an employee near the doors he saw me and went to the back to avoid me. Walgreens close at 12:00 not 11:55. Those last 5 minutes were all I had to help my child feel better. read more

I have used this pharmacy for over 5 years now largely due to insurance policies. Typically, I don't have many issues besides longer than average wait times for medicine. However, I recently ran out of medication refills. Requested a refill on the Walgreens app and Walgreens said they would contact my doctor. To which my doctor notified me that they sent the prescription, but the Walgreens app said it was denied. Weird. Oh well- I call my doctor. The doctor confirms, yes, we sent a prescription. But no big deal, they will send a second one. The second prescription was sent on June 26th. I visited the pharmacy on Saturday July 12th because I never received notification that my prescription was ready. The employee told me that's because I don't have a prescription. That I had refills but they expired in June. Interesting. So, the following week, I call my doctor for a third time. They send a third prescription, and left me a text and a voicemail confirming that it was sent to the correct pharmacy address. I even went in the app and requested a refill. I have a chat transcript showing the prescription was found and my medicine would be ready the following day. My insurance showed a claim for the medication now. I show up today, August 2nd, to be told once again that the pharmacy has no records of a prescription for me. At this point, I am furious. How on earth have they not received three prescriptions in the last month? Despite everything I showed on my end, there was "nothing they could do since the doctor was closed." Thankfully, my husband thought to return to the pharmacy and ask if perhaps the medication was filed under my maiden name. Which, to note, all my previous medications have been under my married name. The pharmacist was suddenly able to find my medication prescription under my married name AND had the nerve to blame US for not changing it. I have records of my previous medications under my current married name. Thankfully, I was able to get my medication in the end but it should not take 6 weeks and playing phone tag with a doctor to get something simple filled. Something has to change. I will not be returning to this pharmacy again. read more

Avoid if you need vaccinations. Period. We used this Walgreens at Northpointe intersection primarily because of its location, and we had very few problems with prescriptions. However, We will likely use another pharmacy. Scheduled back to back appointments (on the hour, then 15min after) for flu shots online, the day of the appointment (the online calendar showed a full day of open slots). We arrived on time, and there was no line of customers in-store, occasional cars in drive-through, yet we waited for about 15-20 minutes, until we just canceled and left. I would understand if they were understaffed, but it's not like we were there at rush hour, these appointments were for late weekday morning. When we finally asked, "How much longer?" The tech just told us, "It'll be a few more minutes, our pharmacist has to fill prescriptions, TOO." Didn't ask if we wanted to reschedule, didn't even put in any effort whatsoever to accommodate us. So proving immunizations was a low priority at this location, it seems. We were invisible. Nice customer service and communications training, Walgreens. This is one of those times I'd prefer AI or machines over humans. read more

We use this Walgreens as a primary pharmacy for our meds! We have had decent service when picking up Rx. We made an appointment for a flu shot at 11am and 11:15, for today, December 2nd. We arrived on time and the lady with long reddish blond wearing a green T-shirt helped us. Took our information and then we waited. I asked who will administer the shot and she stated "it depends on who is available Rph, or PharmTech." At 11:15 I asked how much longer, we've waited a while. Response: "we have a few more prescriptions, a few more minutes!" What is the point of making appointments if patients cannot be seen. At which point "I ask her to cancel" she replied with "OK" kept on with what she was doing! Zero customer service. Didn't say " sorry about the delay, would you like to reschedule another appointment" NOTHING! We didn't hear her say to anyone from the time we arrive to the time we left, about customers waiting for flu shots to anyone behind the counter. We will not return here for any shots! I have picked up Rx for myself and two other family members and this is the worst customer service particularly from this woman. This is not the first negative review as we can see here! And nothing is being done by Walgreens evidently. read more

I think other people in here are not being patient with a high volume Walgreens that is the only one open in the area on Sundays. If you want a less stressful Walgreens, go to one that's not on a major highway. Have your order delivered. I love the pharmacy staff. The pharmacist is calm and kind to his techs, as well as customers. Remember that we visit the pharmacy when we are sick. Things are not always easily processed and we are extremely sensitive and feel horrible. You have 1 visit. They have over 450 scrips per day through that store. Now think about how many sick and crabby people they have interactions with during their shift all while being exposed to every single pathogen at the counter. So, grow some patience and stop being so ugly to those who are working to make sure we don't die from the wrong medicine.They are overwhelmed as is. Just say thank you for making sure you get the correct dosage. read more

This is the worst pharmacy dept. off of 249, and what's terrible is that I was given the run-around a second time. I arrived to this Walgreen pharmacy because it's convenient and behind my home. However, the meds will not be ready till tomorrow, fortunately, they sent me 30 minutes away from my home to another Walgreens that will have the meds ready for me upon pickup. Needless to say, upon my arrival to the Walgreens 30 minutes away, the pharmacist technician shared with me that they did not get a filled order from the Walgreens behind my home. Now, I have to sit and wait an hour for the medication for which I am in immediate need of the meds to help my son who is sick at home. This place gets a rating of ZERO and how they are intolerable of their clients. I will never recommend this Walgreen for anything, even if it's toilet paper. read more

Regarding the Walgreens on 249 and Northpointe Blvd, I've never had a complaint against it or any problems in the 7 years we have been frequenting it. Sometimes it feels like they are low on staff, but the store is always clean, the shelves are neat, and usually well-stocked. The pharmacy is frequently busy, probably because it is convenient for so many of us that live around it. It would be nice if the pharmacy extended their hours. read more

First time at this pharmacy. Just needed a vaccine. I decided to arrive early for my appointment and fill out the paperwork at the pharmacy as it says on the site. So I get there and step up to the consultation window asking if I can get the form and start filling out as there is quite a significant wait at pick-up. The young lady gives me a look up and down stating "you didn't fill out the form online?" I said "No. that's why I arrived early." Her response? " you need to get back in line because I have to check you in before I can give you the form." Short version. I'm not coming back to this Walgreens site. I understand if there is a system that needs to be followed but there is something to be said for positive customer service. I work in the service industry myself. There were no signs to indicate that vaccine questions are not addressed at the consultation window and it was my first time at that site so there was no way for me to know I wasn't in the right place for my need. Scheduled to get a covid test Sunday at 4:15, after waiting in line for almost an hour. I was able get take the rapid test and was told I would get my results in 2 hours. I had the worse experience ever at this pharmacy today. I went through the drive through to pick up my prescription. The car in front of me sat for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged them so they drove off and went around to go inside. I pulled to the window and there were 3 clerks standing in a group talking and laughing. I sat waiting for someone to acknowledge I was at the window. When time passed and no one helped me, I tapped on the window thinking maybe they didn't see me. They looked my way and went back to talking. I sat for a few minutes and finally blew my hour. They continued to ignore me. Finally one of them came over to the window and with MUCH attitude ask if she could help me. I think I'll find another pharmacy. read more

I've been getting my scripts filled here for several years now. Overall - they're fantastic and even accommodating. Arnold is such a pleasant & assertive pharmacist (something you don't see much of anymore). Over the years I've gotten to know most of the staff in the back - Justin, Heather, David, Gary - they've all been awesome and very good at what they do. I trust them (this location that is with THIS group of staff) wholeheartedly. They pay attention to my meds. I never have to worry if I'm going to get something I'm ultimately allergic to or could possibly not jive too well with my other meds.. Or even better yet - attempt to replace a brand I take with a generic because they don't care to read. We even moved a few miles further out and even though there's another Walgreens closer, I'll continue to drive to this one. Alas - I'm comfortable here.. So much so, that I'll pay a bit more to KEEP coming here. But - and there's always a but.... They have this rotation of classless and clueless nimwits on staff that make you want to just reach out and slap them. UGH! There's this one in particular - flaming red hair and horribly done winged liner - with a nasty attitude. Your job is to fill my scripts, do the insurance crap, and smile and keep it moving. Answer my questions with a bit of respect. Don't get sassy & try to pass your job off to me unless you want to pass your check off to me as well. ;-) If you're having a bad day - not my problem - we all have them. But do NOT get rude nor short with me. I have a zero tolerance for ignorance and disrespect - it's just not acceptable. Didn't 'ya Momma' teach no manners???? In the Tomball area, Walgreens is better than CVS. Faster check out speed, cleaner aisles, and hair nets. Yes, my job makes me buy my own hair nets (forget hats!). Walgreen makes it better by stocking a three pack for only 1.50. Walgreens also carries my brand of hair spray -- and the cashiers never give me any funny looks when I buy six cans at once! read more

The pharmacy has the worst customer service. You can never get through to actually speak to someone. You are placed on hold for every time for more than 20 minutes and eventually the call is dropped. The staff is rude and doesn't try to address your needs. They don't seem to care about you as a patient. I would not get my medicine from Walgreen's if it wasn't for my insurance. read more

I tried entering my script number and automated system kept reading the 1 as a 7. So I tried to get a person. Went to hold every 2 minutes where someone would pick up the phone and place in hold with out even saying hello. Was on hold for over 15 minutes. Customer service at its best. read more
