Walgreens on 61st St. has the friendly staff that I have ever met in any traditional Corner drugstore. It's like a visit back in time when people know your name and know what you're looking for and you're always greeted with appropriate greeting. The staff are appropriately attired and service oriented. read more

They can't keep some meds in stock and then argue with you when you remind them you received a partial order. They clearly have no interest in customer service. I recently went to pick up a prescription and they failed to tell me there was only one pill in the vial. Yet charged me $12.99. Those pills are normally less than $1 each. It has been one thing after another with this pharmacy for the five months I have been using them. Unlike anything I have ever experienced with a pharmacy. I will be changing pharmacies. Ordered 1 piece of paper printed to be pickup at 10:30 AM. Got there at 10:30, nobody trained to use the printer was working. They said come back at 11. Came back at 11 and the person that came in was not trained either. They told us to come back around 1PM when the manager came. We came back at 2:00. Manager was there but told us to wait for an email until it was ready. I had to have that printed document (LITERALLY ONE SINGULAR PAGE) for 3:00 PM so I could pickup my dog. Now I have to pay $75 for her to be spayed instead of using the free voucher I got. The manager was rude too. Didn't give one F. She was even talking on the phone or something while we were waiting at the desk. Said there's 20+ other orders she's working on. She's been there for an hour? My document was supposed to be ready at 10:30 AM. The employee I dealt with this morning, she was new and very kind so I have no harsh words about her at all, just the management at this location is downright terrible and they obviously don't know how to actually manage read more

Took my handicapped wife down to get a flu shot. I had called to confirm they had the vaccine and told pharmacy I was on my way but apparently did not get on their appointment list. It took a solid hour from the time we arrived until we got the shot even though we were first in line when we arrived. Others came later and went in front of us. My wife was exhausted. I recommend trying someone else. read more

Conveniently located - so ingress and egress are easy. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Selection is pretty good and prices are reasonable. They have a Redbox outside that is easily accessible as well. The only downside is that they open kind of late, 8:00AM, so often I find myself having to go elsewhere if I am trying to pick something up before work. read more

I like this place when I have to look for a specific item like certain cosmetics or meds. This place also got lots of goodies like chips, candies, and baby stuff. The cashiers are certainly very nice and down to earth. I sometimes stop by their redbox if I cant find the dvds I am looking for in walmart lol. Another good thing about Walgreens is, whenever you buy their cosmetics you can return or exchange within 30 days of purchase with the receipt no questions asked! One of the wonderful customer representatives from the store, Lisa, told me as I buying a few lip crayons a couple days ago. When I went in today to exchange for a different lip color, they were very accommodating and allowed me to get a color I want! This is def a place to go if you are looking to buy and try out a store cosmetics. read more

The place was nice, organized, and clean, but the ladies behind the pharmacy counter where some of the rudest I had ever come across. Talked to me like I was an idiot, rolled their eyes and had no kind tone in their voice. All I needed was one thing. They weren't ready to answer any questions, so I turned away. The lady in the cosmetics department was far more pleasent and made up for the other ladies gossiping, rude behavior. She was ready to answer any questions I had.
