I've filled my prescriptions at Walgreens in North Carolina Virginia South Carolina Tennessee Florida Missouri and I think another state. I have to call in and check on when my prescriptions are due as I move around the country in my RV. Tonight I called about one of my Rxthat is coming due. I received excellent support and answers to my questions from the pharmacy technician when I called in tonight to see if I was due for a particular refill yet I would use the store again. read more

I am very disappointed with the way Walgreens handled my father's prescription. Despite state law in Florida allowing a licensed doctor to prescribe medication regardless of where in the state the patient is located, Walgreens refused to fill his prescription. The reason given had nothing to do with medical safety or legality, but rather personal feelings. A pharmacy's role is to follow the law and ensure patients have access to their prescribed medications, not to let personal biases or emotions get in the way of patient care. This situation caused unnecessary stress and delay in my father receiving the medication he needs. Patients should be able to trust that their prescriptions will be filled as written by their doctors, especially when state law is clear on the matter. Walgreens needs to remember that pharmacy services are about patient health first, not personal disagreements. read more

I've been using this pharmacy for several years and have received excellent, prompt service on renewals and new prescriptions.

Great place to get things needed, I also came to get my COVID vaccination, the workers are great and are nice!

This is the second time we have had to use this pharmacy & absolutely the last time. Prescription emailed in, after a one hour wait, said they didn't get anything, drove back to clinic & they resent prescription, drove back to pharmacy & got back in line & low & behold, they have 2 prescriptions. Now we have to wait another 25 minutes minimum to get this script which should have been ready over 1 1/2 hours ago. So very disorganized , it is pathetic. I was with this Walgreens for 3 years and had nothing but problems. There was always a problem, always. They did not stock a seizure medication my son has to use and I have had to call other walgreens in the area to find it myself AND drive an hour away to get it. Not once, but four times! They frequently got the medication wrong, even after being told before filling it. There was always an "insurance issue". And between the emails and texts they send - don't believe them. I would get an email that the Rx was ready followed by a text and call stating there is a problem and they are working on it. And let's not forget that they would NOT take Good Rx coupons that they are CONTRACTED with. The techs don't care about what's going on. They give you answers as if they read them off a screen, with no emotion in their voices. They are just pressing buttons and taking payments and it's on the next customer. I never switch pharmacies just thinking they were all the same, until I was forced to because of an insurance change. THANK GOD FOR THAT! Otherwise I might have never known the sheer bliss feeling of a pharmacy that actually knows what they are doing has never given me the first problem. Too bad I didn't try them sooner.
