The walgreens of Saratoga springs is fantastic ! The staff is like family and they treat everyone like that,not just me. There is a wide selection of everything anyone could want. There holiday items are enormous. They have everything from ( can I say ) from soup to nuts !! Wonderful store and the manager is not just a manager but a hard worker for everyone. This is my neighborhood pharmacy. I don't have a lot of prescriptions...it's actually been a while since I needed the pharmacy at Walgreens...but I always had good experiences with the folks that work behind the counter. When I have had a prescription, I received a text to let me know that it's ready. (Yay technology! Much better than sitting around and waiting or playing with the blood pressure machine to idle the minutes away) The staff in the front of the house is always friendly and helpful. Walgreens was one of the first early adopters of Apple Pay, so I loved going there without my wallet and simply using my phone to pay for my goodies. I pop into this Walgreens from time to time when I need birthday or holiday cards, seasonal stuff and the occasional body wash/lip gloss/hair situation needs. read more

My husband uses Saratoga Walgreens for his prescriptions and it's the absolute worst pharmacy! He called yesterday to ask if they had his prescriptions ready and was informed that yes they were all ready & waiting, as to which he replied he'd be there in about 10 minutes and the lady said ok. Once he arrived he was told that only 1 prescription was actually ready and the others wouldn't be available until later in the day! He asked what was going on & they replied that there had been some miscommunication between whomever answered the phone & the actual pharmacist, but he could return later to get his meds. So this morning he calls & yep, all meds are ready for pickup, but again once he arrived at Walgreens the pharmacist says that only 1 is ready and the others will be ready at a later time. He reiterated what had happened yesterday and on the phone call this morning and the woman pharmacist proceeds to yell at him and inform him that if he doesn't like how they treat him at this store he can go somewhere else!!! Like WTF????? This makes us so furious and we are definitely going to be reporting her to corporate and anyone else who can fire this nasty employee! My husband NEEDS his meds now and cannot wait until whenever the pharmacist feels like doing her job! We will be doing everything we can to get the woman pharmacist fired because she has zero ability to do her job and zero customer service! read more

This place was off to a bad start by not handling my mom's pneumonia booster shot very well. The first time she went, they had run out of the vaccine, and they told her they'd contact her when it came in. They never did, and ONE MONTH later, she went in on her own to inquire. They at least admitted they screwed up, and she did get her booster shot. It wasn't obvious to me she needed to do the paperwork all over again, though yeah, they do need verification you don't have a cold, and stuff like that. The wait allowed me the time to check out the rest of the store. It's well laid out, clean, brightly lit, and it has a private patient room for shots and consultations. But for me, that's as far as it goes. Everything here is overpriced, including the beer (beer???). I found every single item I checked cheaper at the nearby Target, and often even Hannaford. This place is a good pharmacy, especially if it's for standard-priced things or for items your medical plan covers. I'm not keen on spending my own money for other items here. read more

I agree with other reviewers that the pharmacy personnel are a disgrace especially the female pharmacy tech. They work in a field that requires warm compassionate employees. The staff are cold, rude individuals. They stop taking patients through the drive up window before the stated closing time. They delay transfer of prescriptions to other pharmacies if they disagree with you. They don't answer the phone! They should lose their accreditation. The pharmacy across the street is SO much better!! read more

Tried to buy two items on Friday, March 11 at 9:50 PM. Doors were locked early both employees were still in front of the cash register. after knocking on the door one employee, a woman named Dana opened the door and said that she could not serve me. She said that the rules from her managers were that they needed to be out of the door by 10. And that there was no cash register any longer. Absolutely worst customer service I've ever encountered in a large corporate store like this. These employees are a disgrace they don't care about their job it's a shame read more

Drive through window has been closed for a long time. Tried calling the store to speak to a pharmacist but, after listening to the annoying automated system, it disconnects when It goes to ringing an actual person. I tried several different ways to get through but couldn't. So very frustrating. read more

Your normal Walgreens in the big shopping area of Saratoga Springs. I came in during the evening and the workers were all over the place. One was on the phone and others were putting items on the shelf. No one was at the register when I came up to buy things. The negative to this is the parking lot is only accessible off of Rt 50, not from the Walmart side. I drove around many times and had to walk across the grass in order to get to the Walgreens. read more

I am an infrequent buyer of printed out photos, however I had a coupon offering me 30% off the purchase of 20 or more. So I used the online ordering system and was trying to order collage prints, unfortunately the app only let's you do one at a time. Thinking they would honor it in store for the total purchase price, I brought it with me...no such luck. They chose not to , because it had to be purchased online- I mentioned the issue I had ordering multiple collages,still no go, what am I going to do, leave my pictures behind? The woman who rang up my purchase was not at fault and did what she could by asking that it be honored, so I have nothing but good things to say about her, I shall absorb the loss on this purchase, however I will think twice about using this photo service the next time I print my photos, bad move when you want to promote good customer service... read more

I ordered some photo enlargements to be printed and when I went to pick them up, the staff at the photo counter told me (did not ask me) that they were taken by a professional photographer, with the implication that they would not sell them to me. The photos were not taken by a professional, and I told her so. I asked if she saw a marking, and of course she didn't, because there wasn't one. Who knows why she felt they were "professional", because she couldn't seem to verbalize her rationale. My guess is that she thought they were pro shots because the subject was a bride and groom on an island with palm trees at sunset. Yes, a wedding, attended by the bride, groom and 2 other adults, one of whom took the photo, probably on an I-phone! Having been called a liar, without the clerk having actually said the word, I left the store. I can assure you, I'm not very happy about it and I won't be back. read more
