This is a horrible pharmacy. A compound of rude and incompetent techs and pharmacists. They do not care about you as a person. They will not fill for prescriptions unless prompted even if on hand. You will wait weeks for medications that go in and out of stock. Good luck staying on top of your pick-ups. Really shameful professional behavior. read more

TL;Dr: Walgreens on Civic Center by Barlow messed up my three -year-old's medication and I was treated like trash by the manager. Just wanted to post a heads-up regarding the Walgreens on Civic Center by Barlow plaza. I am never one to share stories like this, but this could have hurt my kids. I have two kids with rip-roaring ear infections, each of whom needed antibiotics. They told me they'd be ready in an hour. I waited in the car line for half an hour, got to the front, and was told they weren't ready and to go to the back of the line. I get to the front of the line, take the meds, and go home to treat my kids. Get home and find out that they didn't prepare the meds-- they gave me the powder and no instructions. Called and asked for them to have a reconstituted one when I went back a THIRD TIME. Got there, asked to speak to a manager when at the car window, the manager listened to my complaint, put the correct medication in the box, and said "is there anything else I can help you with?" I said "yes, it would be nice if someone apologized for screwing this up three times." He smiled, said "have a nice day," and walked away. They gave me the wrong medication for my kid. Then they gave me unprepared medication. Then a third time, they gave me the correct medication. Not once did anyone apologize. Imagine if they had messed up another child's medication and the parent hadn't caught it. Unbelievable. I will be writing to corporate, but wanted to warn moms here to check any prescriptions you get from that pharmacy, because their incompetence caused an error that could have hurt my child. read more

Disappointing.... This store should be top notch being in Rochester Minnesota.... Unfortunately it's understaffed, looks run down (windows on front are discolored and broken) and the morale of staff members is terrible. Clear they don't want to be there. About 4 years ago it was thriving with great management and staff.... now, sad. Plus, went in three times as they were advertising that they had flu shots. Nope. So I asked them why they had signs posted everywhere and it scrolling on their outside sign...."I don't know." Wow. read more

It's walgreens a good go to for certain items. Pharmacy has been really difficult to work with, staff tries so not sure where the disconnect is...either prescriptions get delayed with no real explanation or follow up after waiting a long time, some authorizations not going through but will at other pharmacies. Finally transferred to another pharmacy. read more

The pharmacy was ok about getting my prescription but the lady at the desk told me it would be about 8 minutes and if I wanted to wait around I could. Next think I know they were closing up the windows. When I knocked on the window they told me they were closed. I told them the lady told me to wait but they said they already closed up for the night and to come back in the morning. read more

Easily the most disappointing Walgreens experience I've ever witnessed. Store looked tired and in need of a good cleaning and clearly understaffed. I went to the photo center to use the scanner. It was dirty. (No big deal...it's glass). I asked the gentlemen for something to clean it with and left after waiting 15 minutes with no response. read more

Kudos to the photo department. I've been there before for a passport photo. Today I sent in with a photo to be scanned to a disc. It was my son's army picture and I wanted to be able to share it. My scanner at home was distorting the colors. Very helpful and I walked out within 10 minutes of starting my project. read more

Horrible pharmacy! Does not even mix the medication for you, which they are suppose to!! Tells you to do it your self with no clear instructions how. 1 star rating because there is 1 star Pharmacist working here that when available exceeds all expectations. Otherwise my rating is 0 stars. I understand back ups and delay but this is an ongoing problem both inside and out. They simply do not have the staff to accommodate their customers. Their staff is overwhelmed/busy and agitated. I understand Covid related business problems but this should be resolved by staffing for the needs of your area. Come on guys. My review is for the pharmacy. They lost my prescription for my pain medication after having surgery and in tremendous amount of pain. They gave me my antibiotics and anti-nausea but nothing for pain. When I realized it I called and talk to Brian. Who said he would look. A few minutes later came back on saying they have no record. I began trying to explain to him and it was hard because I was crying for the pain. He was rude and as I started to ask to please keep looking he hung up on me. So I had to try and get ahold of my surgeon's office to try and get another prescription and then deal with the set up at another pharmacy. This makes me not even want to go to the store. I would never go here if not completely necessary. The service is absolutely atrocious. You'll find one person working the cash register and one or two people working in the pharmacy. Good luck trying to get any of them to help you. The cash register person doesn't even know where most things are and there's always a 20 minute wait at the pharmacy because they have people on hold on the telephones and people at the drive-through. It was a miserable experience trying to buy three things here after getting my surgery done. Needless to say, I will never shop here again. read more

Scheduled an immunization at this location online only to arrive to find the pharmacy team gone for lunch. Had to wait for them to get back. Their website completely bungled the scheduling because it was not aware of their regular lunchtime, a degree of miscommunication between the corporation and its local stores that would be laughable if it weren't so frustrating. If this is representative of their overall level of competence, I would find a different pharmacy. read more

Absolute clown show at this location! severe lack of inventory means 1 to 2 week wait for many perscription items, My last perscription was incorrectly filled and documented causing a severe complication with getting this medicine refilled at a later date. Pharmacy is grossly under staffed, there is always a wait, always a line, your perscriptions are never filled on time. Thankfully there are competent alternatives in town! read more
