The procedure was a bit painful for me (I'm a wuss!) but afterwards they put some cooling fans on my face and red light treatment to help with the sensation. I used the recommended aftercare kit, a few days after the procedure my skin was no longer red and after about 5 days most of the rough patches were gone. A week later my skin is smooth, tight, lifted and my pores and fine lines are almost invisible. I think it took 10 years of aging and damage off my face, my skin is incredible and I can't remember the last time it looked like this. If you're on the fence about Tixel just do it, it's worth it! I've also gotten a facial from Teri and Dysport from Christy in the past, both were amazing experiences. Have my next facial and Dysport booked and can't wait! My speech has also been affected, especially when pronouncing "S" sounds, and it now sounds like I have a speech impediment. I contacted the office and returned to see him after one week. I was told to wait another week and it should get better. Since then no one has followed up, and there has been no improvement. I know there are risks with Botox, but I also know that with an experienced injector, these problems can be avoided. I did not feel my treatment reflected the individualized approach or patient care described on the website. I had a cracked tooth and he recommended a crown. I asked several times if I needed a root canal and he told me no every time. Even after the crown, I still had pain in that tooth for over a year and was told different reasons every single time. Long story short, I ended up with that tooth being abscessed and had to have a root canal. The endodontist who did the root canal stated that it was very iffy if the tooth could be saved. That was several years ago, and I still have pain in that tooth. It will have to be pulled and an implant placed. I would not let this man near my mouth ever again.
