This pharmacy is a black hole of incompetence and apathy. I wouldn't trust these people to fill a glass of water, let alone a prescription. I've been lied to repeatedly--told my medication was ready, only to show up and be met with blank stares and zero accountability. Not once. Not twice. But five times. I'm starting to think it's a game to them. Let's talk about the staff: rude, dismissive, and clearly undertrained. One of them looked so confused when I asked a basic question I almost asked them if they were feeling okay. Are you hiring based on who failed customer service school the hardest? The manager? Absolutely invisible. Whoever's in charge should be embarrassed. Either step up or step out. You're letting your team run a health facility like it's a fast-food drive-thru that ran out of fries and dignity. read more

I shopped here to use the passport photos and was helped by Jazmine and Evelyn. They were both very nice and present to the moment to help me with my needs. With their upbeat attitude they helped us (me and two people before also getting passport photos) get in and out very quickly. Jazmine took my photos and for the first time in my life made it difficult to not show teeth for a professional photo. Jazmine and Evelyn are real breadwinners and hype you up in a genuine way. Absolutely horrible experience at the pharmacy. I repetitively would be told after checking in a pattern of 30 days ahead, 14 days ahead, 7 days ahead, 2 days ahead, 1 day before, 12 hours before, 2 hours before, 1 hour before, and 10 minutes before, in person and on the phone SIX TIMES IN A ROW that they had my medication, then I would show up and claim they didn't have it. At one point I went there and just asked out right why they would tell me they did have it if they in fact did not, and got given some sort of blanket answer that they have issues between stocking count and the system records. I asked why that would still result in me not receiving medication if asked them to check the computer and the physical stock every time, and they mumbled something like maybe it was miscounted. Extremely unreliable, and they actively avoided letting me input rewards numbers at the pharmacy. Went from my go to location to get a medication I need to function daily, with a lovely staff, to the most unprofessional experience I've had at a business. So disappointed. Now I go anywhere other than them no matter what I need. Even if I need something and they're closer, I'll drive all the way to Walmart or Idaho falls to another major store just to avoid having to buy anything from them at all. Shame on you Walgreens for how you treat your customers. read more

Called to see if a prescription was ready, was told it would be an hour and a half. 3 hours later, they were just wrapping it up. If they'd been on time, it would've prevented a lot of pain and tears. read more

It isn't the worst pharmacy that I've ever been to but it sure isn't the best. I was sitting in the drive-through line for 20 minutes once with everybody behind me looking at me wondering why I wasn't moving forward but really they were just inside the whole time cleaning, moving supplies, etc. and we had to wait for them to finish whatever they were doing inside to come help at the window, hand me my Rx and get to the people behind us. They have also not billed my secondary insurance several times and come up with the Rx telling me it will be the wrong amount. Which also means I can't use the quick pay that they are so proud of and quickly pick up my order, because the amount in the app is wrong until I wait in line to talk to a person, they ask me to wait while they fix it, and they go in the back for a while just to come back out each time telling me that it wasn't billed through secondary insurance so it was the wrong amount, and now it's the right amount. They essentially have to redo my whole order, Print new labels, put it in a new bag; the whole time with people backing up in line because there is often only one person helping clients at the window. I shouldn't have to stand there feeling bad just because they can't figure this out - shouldn't their computer take care of that anyway? This is Walgreens, not the student health center; I expect more from a national chain than this, and this cant be that uncommon of a thing. I am not at the corner of happy and healthy, although they haven't ever actually messed up my Rx - like I have read about in some other reviews, so I am going to give them 2 stars for that. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy has been a nightmare. The staff at the pick up window could not bother to help us repeatedly. They refused to help this week by providing a cold pack for medication that is an injectable when we must drive several hours to our home. This is a very expensive medication and it is a full month supply, they receive good money from insurance and us to pay for this and are given cold packs by the drug company upon delivery to their store to insure it is ok. A truly uncaring company. This was the 6 th time they have been impossible to deal with. Other times they texted to say meds were there and they refused to look for them. It is a long drive to get to this store, but they do not care! I will be reporting their lack of help to corporate and to our insurance providers. read more

The Rexburg Walgreens has to have one of the most inept pharmacies I've ever encountered. They continuously can't get my prescription through insurance and have "lost" my prescription. I am amazed at the people who work here, every time I go. The photo center is a nightmare: I showed up three times to pay for photos, AFTER CALLING AND CONFIRMING they were ready, and had someone turn me away, unapologetically. The culture of the management is bizarre; unless you are running in to grab a quick item, to beat the business of surrounding supermarkets, just stay away! read more

I was hired on very short notice simply because it was right before the busy holiday season. They gave me inconsistent long hours when I requested shorter, frequent shifts (which was an option verbally mentioned my first work day). They made me work Sunday, they never trained me in anything except register--and they kept me up front to deal with the customers and do the dirty work. They had a minor train me at one point, they never accommodated for my ADHD, and did not record my hours correctly in my first paycheck, losing out on $70. The next check was obviously paid under the table since no pay stub was available--very suspicious!! The manager never knew my work shift and always deferred me to his assistant manager if I had legit concerns. They promised to transfer me to a permanent employee before hiring yet kept me as temporary. They had me work Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day against my best interests. Finally, one work day right after Christmas, they pulled me aside after my seven hour shift ended, and said that today was my last day--they did not give me any previous notice and said it was because they couldn't afford to keep me on anymore--with no other explanation! It also happened on the same day where that very morning I stressed the importance of needing more shifts weekly since I was struggling to pay rent. Previously, they had failed to update my schedule for weeks, leaving it empty with no hours, and nobody (not even they managers) would give me a straight answer as to why...until it was too late. A week later, I noticed the position I was in opened up again on Indeed. The reason I was given about their inability to financially keep me on was obviously a lie. The message I got from working there was clear: I was always seen as disposable to them, and was never a valued member of their team or company. I later learned they kept the minor on and the other young girl who started the exact same day I did. Seems the manager has a taste for young, unmarried women... read more

The pharmacy here has failed to fill prescriptions that are auto renew numerous times, filled the wrong prescriptions and then refused to refund them, given the wrong items associated with prescriptions, and been super argumentative about righting their wrongs. The current woman pharmacist clearly has a chip on her shoulder and needs to drop it and get her staff members up to a proper level of professionalism. They are literally responsible for giving out prescriptions that could destroy a persons health or even kill them. I'd give them zero stars if I could and I'd go somewhere else if there was another drive through option in town. I hope their manager reads this. read more

I recently just went to this location to buy Covid tests , not only were the 10$ ones not stocked my grandma was able to find them somewhere else after I had already bought a 25$ test instead but that's not my main issue... I was looking at my receipt and realized I got none of the deals being advertised I went back and asked them why this happened, they informed me that I needed my rewards to get these deals which I already had and offered to refund me for the items that I didn't get the deals on and let me put in my rewards # to get the deals Awesome right!? Wrong! They refunded the money which takes 1-3 business days understandable , but what they neglected to tell me is that I wouldn't be able to buy my items back for 1-3 business days as well I explained to them I lived 35 minutes away and am sick so I wouldn't be able to come back in and repurchase my items easily ... I told her I have the money please but she wouldn't let me buy my items back! I got slippers and two juices ( one I already opened and drank out of ) I am just in shock that the customer service was so awful and they were not willing to even try to help me out a little ... read more

The pharmacy here is an absolute nightmare. Nobody has any idea what they are doing. I can't tell you how many times I've needed to ask for somebodies superior to help them with BASIC tasks. Just finish talking with someone there at Walgreens and they were really helpful. They said that they would help me get my medicine for my daughter in 30 minutes instead of the hour and a half as it was scheduled. They went above and beyond to make sure my daughter had her medicine sooner rather than later. I'll be using Walgreens forever, thank you for thinking about my daughter and not just numbers as many businesses do. read more

The store closes at 10 PM every night, which is ridiculous for any Walgreens. Isn't the point of this kind of store to offer convenience and medicine when other stores are either father away or closed? Last complaint. There is only one lane in their pharmacy drive thru, so expect up to a 20 minute wait. read more

It is great having a major drugstore chain in Rexburg. The store is clean and always well stocked. The pharmacy staff are helpful and knowledgeable. They even added a second redbox movie kiosk outside on the east side of the store. They often have good sales on seasonal items. read more
