I wish there was a half star rating! So tonight I'm at home watching the Rams and Bengals play MNF. I decided to call this Walgreens to refill my allergy medication. The automated system would not verify my refill ( I have 4 left). So it placed me in que to speak to a live person.. Fast forward 2 hours later and at 10:02 pm the phone was hung up on me. Takes this pharmacy days, sometimes almost 2 weeks, to get commonly prescribed generic medications in the store. Then when you are ready to pick the medication up, the drive through line moves like pond water. I'm not sure how this company stays in business, but my guess is that it's propped up by big health insurance contracts. read more

Don't use the pharmacy at this store... They will not answer the phone or communicate with you! They pick up a call without saying anything and then put it back on hold. The same behavior occurs if you use the automated calling system, call the main store and asked to be transferred to the pharmacy. They are severely understaffed. read more

After waiting in line to pick up a prescription......I was last car in line and pulled up......they looked at me and put the lunch sign up....then walked away. Store manager Jerry said he could not open them up and they were supposed to clear the line. Just unprofessional and they clearly don't care. So I waited for them to open and asked the pharmacist about why they just shut down when they could have helped me in about 30 seconds - he just stared and said "we close for lunch at 130". I said I was the last car in line - you could have helped me and he said "we close for lunch at 130".....and walked off. No wonder they have a 1.8 at the pharmacy and a 2.2 for the store. Never had an issue in the last few years until now. I have a severe cold and pregnant so just great right? I get my cold medicine and go up to the register. The lady is behind me at an isle putting stickers down. I stand there for 5 minutes, not trying to be rude. I finally say "ma'am" in case she just hadn't saw me. She said "I'm coming, I saw you a minute ago". Okay I pushed it off. Then she came up saying that they assign her to things other than just standing there, with a huge attitude. I said "okay yes ma'am". Already annoyed; I swipe my card 5 times before the card reader finally reads it then I apologize and explain it wasn't reading the card then she says, again with attitude, "it takes time, it's slow" like I was stupid. I understand what it's like as I've worked in retail before but I shouldn't have had to stand there for 5 minutes waiting on her d*mn stickers and the attitude was unnecessary when I hadn't done anything but be nice to her. read more

I understand that in these times this pharmacy is busy and stressed but that doesn't give them the right to be inconsiderate and rude to customers. I had to wait 4 and a half hours in Longview last night for my son's medication to be filled then drive an hour home. If they'd actually attend to the customers there that they knew had been physically there waiting in line for hours instead of just saying they were too busy giving walk in Covid vaccines and 200 prescriptions for people that aren't even there to pick theirs up they might save themselves the stress from unhappy customers. I know I wasn't alone, I heard others complaining too. I was told it would take 2 hours at 4:30pm, it was finished and available for pick up after 9:00pm. No worries though, I have dealt with the decline of customer service there for over 10 months so I will be transferring all of ours to somewhere that is more considerate. I realize our 4 prescriptions aren't a big deal for Walgreens but it is to me and my family and it is not worth the stress or time, I'd rather pay more elsewhere. read more

I'm going to give it 4 stars. It's a nice quiet semi clean place to run in for you morning emergencies, after your coffee kicks in! and its centrally located. Easy to get in and out of. Although the floors could have used a good mopping, everything else was damn near perfect. read more

For 6 months I tried to cope with the problems of this pharmacy. Ever since Walgreens changed over to the automated system I had nothing but problems with my medications not getting filled, not the right amounts, not ready when they said they were. I finally gave up and moved all my medications to another pharmacy....sometimes automation ISN'T the right thing to do. Also, all the good folks who knew what they were doing left this pharmacy. read more
