Old man in photo wants to be lazy and cop an attitude so I matched it. I stood there while no one came to help, then he drags out of the office and takes his time at register, then comes over to me to tell me 2 of 3 of my orders are done even though the one that isn't done was placed before the others. So I got to pay for the 2. He walks off so I check. I realize one of the 2 orders I wrong. Now I'm annoyed but I ask what to do and he said "I don't know it probably won't be done til Monday" and brushes it off. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME HERE. Y'all are lazy and sit in the office and then get upset when customers are pissed about their stuff not being done. I worked at this location a few years back and I left for a reason. Making $14 an hour off a GED and you want to get uppity with me?? My friend got her wisdom teeth removed and they sent her prescriptions to this pharmacy. I waited in a long line before finally making it to the counter. They were clearly understaffed but I was promised it would be about a half hour. It took them THREE HOURS instead of the promised 30 minutes. Once they had all of the medications ready, they refused to let me purchase one because the insurance wouldn't go through. I offered to pay the full price and they still wouldn't sell it to me. Hello, the friend here. As my friend was waiting in line for me, I decided to call. The wait time was TWO HOURS and when the phone stopped playing waiting music and started ringing-- they immediately hung up. I was so baffled I could hardly be mad. The sheer incompetence, the lack of care, the audacity to operate like this prevented me from becoming upset. I could only laugh. This is the most garbage Walgreens in town. Don't try your luck here. On June 6th I bought four self test from Walgreens. when I bought them I asked 3 people including the cashier and the person who helped me find the items if they are returnable and they all assured me they were. When I could not use the items I returned them a couple of days later with the receipt as I have been told but they refused to return it stating they have the right to refuse. I went through a lot of hassle and manipulation with them. The manager refused t help and asked me to leave and not talk to anyone anymore. Called the customer support national number and they sent me to another number that is third party and requested a denial number. When I said the number was not given to me I was asked to return to the store and ask for one. When I told them I was by the store and suggested to them to speak to the manager they refused and hung up on me. The manager denied such a denial number exists and said he could not help me further. When I asked him to talk to them again if I call them he refused and asked me to leave. Security came and suggested that I should leave. I called toll free customer national number again and they said they will take that into consideration and call me back. they did not. When I call back they said there is nothing they could do and hung up on me. Please help I need my full refund. this is scam and people should e warned about it. I can never get enough of Walgreens, ( I shop at Walgreens very often back home) just like a Starbucks at every corner, I noticed Walgreens are at every corner here in Vegas too, luckily we happen to pass this Walgreens at the stoplight on Christmas Day & they also close early at 6pm. We had about 15 minutes to shop before closing time. Reason for this visit, we needed to get water for the hotel & I ended up browsing a bit to see what items to grab that Hawaii's Walgreens does not carry. I noticed this store is a bit messy, it's bigger store and merchandise are not fully stocked. Some items has no prices & I had to check them at the register. There's a section of Hawaii snacks, juice, & goodies but prices are on the high side. If I lived here, I would definitely get them no matter how much the cost. There's a nice selection of Las Vegas souvenirs. I got my water and ended up with a few other stuff. The lines were long, short staffed not sure due to the Holidays , only one cashier & store supervisor at the door to let customer out since they were about to close. Note., store is a little sketchy with few homeless hanging & sleeping outside, messy with thrash entrance of store. Upon entering I had to rush in the store real quick, I overheard the cashier mention that someone was sleeping at pharmacy and the security had to go wake that person up. Came in to pick up my moms prescription came in at 7:25pm no one helped me until 740pm. They only came to the window because another customer asked a question. Now keep in mind I had to say hi I'm picking up prescription because no one would even make contact with me. They see me standing and ignore me not even a hi I'll be right with you. No customer service. Very rude. Nothing is stocked up. Empty shelves. No one can be bothered with anything. Everyone has attitude they said Ed would be ready in one hour. At 5:27 still not ready! I really dont not know why I continue to go back to this location, I guess because its close to where I live. I had a few photo orders online and went in to pick up my orders around 630pm. Not a good situation. I parked in their lot and I was not able to exit my car due to a person standing by my car and demanding money or I couldnt get out. I told the man if he didnt leave I would call security of the store. I did that, no pick up and the man moved along. I went in store and found the security guard and she basically stood there and said.."What do you want me to do. Call police if you have an outside issue". Really? This is a pretty typical Walgreens just with at sometimes individuals whom many ignore at times. The staff, when we could find was not very knowledgeable about the store. Had to visit to get a prescription filled. It took the pharmacy only a few hours, but at some other Walgreens in Las Vegas they will fill while you wait and only wait a max of 30 min. Loaded up with a few nonessential while waiting such as allergy medication, bathroom delicates, candy, and a drink while wait. One thing that Walgreens does offer to customers is a huge selection of candy no matter what time of the year. This Walgreens did not disappoint here, nor did they in the beverage selection. Walgreens could do more in the speed of service at this Walgreens and security of its patrons seems risky at times. read more

Went here on 3/4/14 specifically because: 1. I felt like my kidneys were going to shoot out of my back. 2. This location is open 24 hours. 3. Located off of the Strip. I came here looking for a hot water bottle with attachments to help out with the pain radiating out of my lower back. Hot water bottle as in medical supply, not something you drink out of. Unfortunately, this place didn't have what I needed, only one sans attachments for $15.99. I guess Walgreen's price gouges both on and off the Strip. I passed on that purchase. I have a pretty strong pain tolerance, so I wouldn't have even been here if my pain level wasn't at least a 7-8/10. Super disappointed. To try to ease the pain, I bought 4 lbs of Epsom salt for $6.99 which I feel is a bit steep. I walked around looking for bentonite clay, which they didn't have, except in the form of premixed face mask. I got it for $4.99. I think the cashier asked if I needed help finding anything 4+ times. I wonder if he thought I was stealing or something, which I found weird. The only good deal was some pads from U by Kotex (the Lisa Frank of period supplies) for $3.50 on clearance - which is about 1/2 the cost they are at Target. I didn't need them but it was such a good deal that I grabbed two boxes in case of emergencies or guests. There was not a single thing in their clearance section, except for the aforementioned, that was a good value. $17 for a bottle of shampoo on clearance... Laughable. Anyway, this place doesn't have the best selection, and is super overpriced so I say...Pass! read more

This is about the pharmacy. They are ALWAYS slow and understaffed and now even their computer system is doing me wrong. My prescription was mailed to me last week. For some reason I keep getting emails, texts and today a phone call telling me to pick my prescription up. Of course they don't allow you to respond to these messages and three times I have called in, waited in excess of 30 minutes each time only to be thrown out of the system. They never have enough pharmacy technicians working and right now there is only one working with a very long line. She's trying her best, but this is ridiculous. Been waiting for about twenty minutes and only three people have been served. Please hire more technicians!!!! Also this walgreens never has a great selection of press on nails. I only come here because I *have* to as I live nearby, but with the constant waiting EVERY TIME, I might as well make the drive over to Henderson. I would give negative stars if I could. Blond pharmacist refused to give my husband his pain medication. We spent 35 days in hospital. He was diagnosed with leukemia and literally had brain surgery the day before and this woman lied to our face and said an attending physician can't put a narcotic prescription in. He general practitioner needs to do it so come back in a few weeks. BRAIN SURGERY AND STAGE 3 LEUKEMIA. Cancer in spine muscle and lymph nodes. Rude, insensitive, and products never in stock Today, I refused to fill my prescriptions at this store when I was denied access to the restroom, post hospital discharge. Management on duty when asked about the "new bathroom policies" details, spoke and responded with both a sarcastic and attitude enriched response. I'd call it Borderline disrespectful, as if almost picking a fight with me. For a store/business with both a clinic and a pharmacy, a bathroom should be made readily available for their customers. I came in to return some candy I did not use for Halloween. I was then told no seasonal or food items can be returned. First I was told the manager won't take it back then the manager printed out a policy regarding seasonal item returns. I went on the website for Walgreens but this was not the same information. Went there ONLY because the wife had to get a blood draw at the Labcorp there. We arrived after doing other errands and I had to go #1 (sorry, if that's tmi). I located the bathrooms and discovered you have to enter a code. SO, I went to the cashier and waited my turn and asked for the code and she said it was broken. I asked if BOTH bathrooms were out of service, and she said yes, but said I could walk to Raising Canes, 5 Guy's, or Target. Well, Target was a pretty good hike so I went to Canes, which had a very nice bathroom (yes, you needed their code, too). I was going to give 2 stars because the cashier really was a nice lady, but after thinking about it, they didn't even bother to tape a sign to the restroom indicating they were broken. Having to trudge over to another business to do your business in THIS area was not optimal for safety. Walgreen's plays the loud music outside to dissuade the transients from camping out. Other than that, yes, they do have ALOT of items behind barricades so you have to ask for help. Thank God I wasn't there for a scrip as that line was about 10 deep! Review for the pharmacy. Over the past two weeks, I've had to get prescriptions here a number of times for myself and with a friend. On most times the line for the pharmacy was long and twice I was told there would be a wait of two hours. Is there anyway they can a bit more efficient? One of my prescriptions I dropped off to pick up later I had stated that I wanted a particular brand, and had them write it down. When I came back to get the medication, it was a different brand. I had to wait another 30 minutes to get the right brand of medication. I think that there needs to be a bit better communication between the techs and the pharmacist. read more

What can I say it is Walgreens your friendly neighborhood drug store. This store is just like the ones in the bay area. The staff is really friendly and they are well stocked except for my SKOR :{ I was like so bummed lol. Anyway, the aisles are clean and the store is pretty well stocked. This is located not far from UNLV actually next to Raising Cane's and there is also a Target and Dollar store with other smaller stores in this outside strip mall. I would say the prices are pretty much like the Bay Area for the taxes in the Nevada is actually higher than the Bay. So if you are looking for medicine, toys, food, makeup and the list goes on this is the store for you because it is the same as home it is nice to know where to go to get the things you need without having to learn a whole new layout and take a long time in the store. ;} read more
