I remember the days when pharmacies were just little shops that mainly focused on prescriptions and over the counter-type medicines. Those days are long gone and this near Walgreens super center finds the pharmacy on the back right flank of the store! Really, I've generally had good experiences with those who work my prescription and those who cover the cash register. This Walgreens is easy to access off both JoeAndy and Atlantic. It has a pretty superior-sized parking lot, as it's a little set off from the other stores in this location. I like coming in here because this Walgreens is kept pretty clean and mostly well-organized. They have many general over the counter medications, creams, etc. on a few aisles near the pharmacy. I'm thankful to the pharmacy personnel because they have always been helpful when I had questions about them. But on the whole of it, Walgreens has many items for customers to choose from. They have everything from greeting cards to candy - even a little wine in the store! I will say that there is a benefit to get on their rewards plan. I if remember correctly, All I had to do to become one was to give my phone number while checking out. It's a pretty good option. I've been here enough now to feel the vale of what this Walgreens brings to this area. I think others will find an enjoyable visit here as they get their pharmaceuticals filled again. I can only speak on the Pharmacy section. This is the place that I go to for prescriptions and vaccines. The ladies working the pharmacy have always been so kind and helpful. Did you know they had headsets for the drive-thru? I didn't. Was baffled when I looked up and into the window and no one was there. That's cool. I've also had to transfer a prescription to this location because of a script snafu. I tried calling my main one but no one picked up the phone. I tried 3 separate times and no one was there. Someone always picks up here. Getting a vaccine here too goes pretty well. Every year is a different pharmacist it seems and they are so kind and quick. read more

I am a Walgreens fan over the other pharmacy. I was popping in for some allergy medication- since I was snotty and miserable and it was bogo. My son also hit them up for a quickie flu shot and not a flinch in sight! The nurse was quick and efficient and we were out the door before you know it. I had to restrain myself from wandering the store- because I know the sales will get me in trouble. This location is just outside my in-laws neighborhood and my pit stop if I need anything for them- staff is always friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and stocked. read more

The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Almost every Walgreens I've been neglects to maintain a clean restroom, but you're all about providing a vaccine! The hypocrisy is real. read more

With three children and a family member with significant health issues, a good pharmacy is very important. I have been known to drive many miles just to insure that medications and insurance issues are done properly. Having clarified my requirements, the pharmacy for this Walgreens is terrific. Not only do they know me by name, but they really go the extra mile in filling prescriptions. Now if I could just get them to make pills with a watermelon flavor. read more

The staff is really nice at this walgreens, especially the pharmacists. They are always friendly, call us by name and are helpful. They even suggested I go online to get a coupon for one of our prescriptions not covered by insurance. The prices are a little higher than walmart, but the convenience makes the difference if we are sick. The store is always clean and usually has some pretty good orange tag markdowns. Join the walgreens Get Rewarded club and you earn actual money back with points on purchases! Look for those bonus point buys! read more

I visited this store to do a quick late night restock of detergent. I have laundry to do early in the morning and was running low on supplies. I also had a return. I told the cashier I had a return but would like to shop so can I leave it at the register? She seemed bothered I asked her, there was no line or anybody else I could see shopping. I went about my shopping then went back to the register. As I'm walking back I can see both the cashier and the manager, Jen waiting for me. I did hear over the loud speaker when the cashier called the manager. I've done a return before and they don't usually call the manager so I figured she might be new. Well Jen told me they couldn't do my return because the item was used. I told her yes it was used but nobody in my family liked it and neither did I so I'm returning it. She said it's half way used so no. I told her I had called and was told it's no prob to do the return even if it was open! And I had my receipt that I purchased it last week.
