We have been going to Dr. Elkington for years. I was very happy with him as a dentist but my…read moreopinion has just changed. My husband was to have a crown put on tomorrow. He has had a sore tooth for over a month , but we had to wait for our insurance to pre-authorize the crown. We get a call today that they never got a pre-authorization. I called our insurance and they never received a prior authorization request. The dentist office said it was a technical glitch. Now, they want us to wait another 30 days or come in and have it fixed and hope the insurance covers it. During my conversation first with Jessica, the comment was made that this is a "courtesy that they do for us", but it is our responsibility to contact our insurance company for payment. I have never heard of this before for dental insurance. I asked Dr. Elkington to call when he had a moment. I just got his call and he came on very defensive from the go. I was trying to say, that my husband should not have to wait another 30 days for a crown and he said then come in. If insurance denies it, you will have to pay. I can't see why they would deny it, when his tooth is cracked. Patient care should not be about the bill and more about the pain in the tooth. I was shocked at how he was acting. I mentioned that I never was rude, when I drove down from an hour away and my appointment was cancelled, (due to an emergency in his office). His comment "well next time my worker has a stroke...I will make sure to call you first." Very unnecessary and so unprofessional.

Dr. Elkington and his staff are absolutely the BEST. I'm 75 years old and have been to a number of…read moredentists over the years. Dr. Elkington and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and professional. I'll never go anywhere else.

I attended TA back in 2008 and graduated in 2009 and made some good friends. At the time the school…read morewas located off of River Rd which I know it's at a different location now. The instructors were so kind, atmosphere of the school was beautiful. Here are some things I didn't notice about it that I wish I would have noticed at the time I was attending. The prices for service were just as much as a normal hair salon. There weren't a lot of walk-ins so we didn't get that much hands on experience with clients on the floor. BIG We were lucky if we got one client a week so majority of the time we worked on mannequin heads. They also didn't let us experience color ratios/mixing and being in the back bar or the receptionist areas. When I did have a client in my chair (most of the time it was my family members to come support me) and I would do a haircut on them it was like pulling teeth to have an instructor come check my work. They seemed annoyed when I asked for help. They didn't teach me to make sections when it comes to doing haircuts they always showed me to start in the middle with a big section and to slowing follow the guide towards the crown of the head. They barely focused on the things we needed to know to pass the state boards. It felt like we needed to teach ourselves how to do haircuts, color, perms, shampoo sets, facials, waxing, pedicures, manicures, etc. Looking back I wish I would have attended Evan's Hair School because they get way more experience with walk ins and their prices are much cheaper. It's been a rude awakening with working in the hair industry fresh out of school and after being a sahm for 10+ years and feeling absolutely clueless as to what I'm doing. This hair school is also very very expensive so that also is so frustrating to feel like this after spending all the money and time here.

Jaynee did a great job! Highly recommend..she is the best! If you are looking for great prices and…read morequality this is the place to go.
