Oh if I could only give less than 1 star! This is such a terrible location; they've closed the drive through and I'm 10th in line at the pharmacy, ridiculous! The pharmacy closes intermittently and without warning and they've reduced the pharmacy hours. It's super fun to show up to get a prescription (that you need, by the way) and the pharmacy is just boarded up. C'mon Walgreens...do better! read more

This pharmacy needs a complete reset. I think everyone is so frazzled back there because of the excessive clutter, drink cans, baskets filled with prescriptions, stacks and stacks of things. Instead of extending the hours it needs to be a "all hands on deck" let's tidy up the work space and get organized so we can effectively handle the high volume of customers. Walgreens has been our preferred pharmacy for over 20 years but we will change that because I can no longer wait 45+ mins for refills or medication pick ups. To think that there is a Pharm. D accepting those working conditions is mind boggling to me. Take leadership, have the techs clean the work space and regulate their nervous systems. Too easy. read more

Might be the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. Waited for 30 mins just for a prescription

I left this pharmacy today transferred my prescriptions to Walmart pharmacy where they answer in a timely manner and treat you with respect. The people who work at this pharmacy are lazy they don't even play it off they have a fun time transferring you from one member of staff to another . They push you to the point of anxiety and panic because they never have a for sure answer it's always "it SHOULD be ready " or "I don't know that's not my department to know what's in stock " they like to okay games many of us here in the springs steer clear because this is the worst customer service !! Plain and simple they are evil they mess with people according to what medicine they need . You can even hear them talk about other customers while you wait and not in a good way . If you're new like I was go to Walmart or Safeway pharmacy where they care . read more

The pharmacy could not be any less interested in serving its clients. They don't keep the posted hours. Prescriptions are never ready when they should be. Even staff at the ER next-door caution me about having prescriptions filled here said you're better off going down the road to the new King Soopers. read more

Unreliable - will close with no notice and estimates of when they will reopen are never correct. If they do happen to be open and give you an estimate of when your prescription will be ready, add anywhere from 6 to 48 hours before it actually is ready. I've had enough, I'm transferring all my prescriptions to Walmart. read more

Still Absolutely Horrible!!!! My husband went in today to pick up some Clearasil and asked the girl where he could find it. Her reply was "what is that?". He told her it was for acne so she started inspecting his face! He finally said that it was not for him and what aisle is it in and she replied "I don't know". This has to be the worst run company in the US. This store has ALWAYS been horrible and we really try not to give them our business. Guess what Walgreens - we will buy it on Amazon! read more

When we first arrived, the line was all the way out to the side road, but it moved fast enough. We probably waited 20 minutes, but the view of those mountains makes it not really seem so bad. The lady who was at the drive thru window was understandable hurried and probably just trying to get through the evening, but she didn't even ask for ID when we picked up my mom's RX. We even handed her my mom's ID, she was sitting in the backseat, but she just said she didn't need it then slid it back through the slot. I get it, germs, but also at the same time that is an important step for protecting peoples' medicines. I would have felt more comfortable if she had even just pretended to look at it. But okay. We received the RX through the drive thru and went about our day. I gave them five stars because they were fast and every other time I've visited this location they've been friendly. I'm okay with letting a bad day slide, especially on a Friday evening during 5o'clock rush hour. read more

I have had nothing but issues everytime we use this pharmacy. I have given them several shots. As a prior pharmacy tech for years I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. After about 6 errors, I'll be taking my scripts somewhere else. Nothing is ever filled on time, they always have an issue billing my insurance. I never had issues before using them. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY Made an appointment to get a flu-shot, ended up waiting for an hour. We ended up leaving when the pharmacist told us he didn't know how much longer we'd be waiting. Also, my 85 year old Grandparents' house has less dust bunnies than this Pharmacy. Everything behind the counter looked dirty and chaotic. Definitely don't trust this place to be administering medicine! read more

NEVER GO HERE I swear all of the people working here have no idea what they are doing. Made an appointment to get a vaccine and was waiting there for 45 min finally someone asked if I've been helped I said yes and then they finally talked to me, made me go sit for another 15 min waiting and then told me I couldn't get it even though I have a prescription. read more

I got treated very disgustingly here, their pharmacists are rude and incompetent. Pharmacists started treating me like i was a drug addict simply just because i made a comment. read more

Very disappointed. I went to the emergency the night before and went first thing in the morning to pick up my medicine just to be told to wait for a call that my prescription is ready to pick up. I was called at the 3:58 PM. I took this screenshot after I left the store. As you can see the voicemail says the pharmacy closes at 10:00 PM. They closed the pharmacy at 4PM. For whatever reason whether short staffed or whatever I think there should still be someone attending the pharmacy until the actual hours. Especially when notified to pick up 2 MINUTES BEFORE they actually CLOSED EARLY!!! AND BEING MISLED BY THE HOURS! People are trying to be medicated in dire situations. I went inside after I saw the sign on the door to see if I could at LEAST pick up my medication. I WAS TOLD THEY WERE SORRY? I left with unmedicated Asthma in 20degree weather which exasperates my condition and the INABILITY to BREATHE LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN!!!! I will be making a second stop to the emergency today for the second day in a row. I literally cannot breathe thank you! WISH I COULD GIVE 0 Stars!!! read more

Walgreens - Called at 3:58 to pick up my prescription for them to Close early 2minutes later - Drugstores Near Me - Fountain, Colorado

This Walgreens is one of the nicest Walgreens. The employees at this location I felt really took the extra time to help me and make an informed decision. I came here to fill a prescription. It only took 13 minutes to fill and I was super shocked. They took time to explain my new medication, and how to use it. I also was really impressed with the ability to save $29 on my prescription cost for the month using the CharityRX card that is free to use and anyone can use it. It was given to me by my doctor and was told to use it at the pharmacy and also I could share it with anyone else. All you have to do is show it to the pharmacy and that's it. They will take down the numbers on the card. They only need it one time. My friend called and asked that the number be added so she does not forget and they worked too. I will use Walgreen more often for sure. read more

Walgreens - a purple card with a picture of a woman's face - Drugstores Near Me - Fountain, Colorado

I have been to Walgreens all over the US and this is, by far, the worst. The employees are great, so that is the only redeeming thing about it. First of all, the parking lot is always filthy...trash everywhere, trash cans overflowing. But the worst is just the crazy long amount if time it takes to do simple things. Gotta get a prescription filled, be prepared to spend an hour standing in line to drop it off or pick it up. Whether you go inside or the drive thru makes no difference, both take forever. Got an appointment to get a vax? Doesn't matter...you're still gonna be standing in line over an hour PAST your appointment time. Wanna place an order for pick up, which anywhere else is usually ready in 30 mins or so? Don't expect that to happen. I've now been waiting hours for a three item pick up. Not sure if the store needs more employees or if the area just maybe needs another drug store...but this is insane. I'm changing my prescription pick up to Safeway across the street and praying that something happens with this Walgreens location to make it more user friendly. read more

This store has the worse pharmacy I've seen, it took 4 days to fill prescription for antibiotics. When I called they told me that it should've been filled that day it was submitted. This is the last time I have a prescription sent to any Walgreens. read more

By far worst Walgreens in town. If you want to sit in line for over an hour. Doesn't matter if it's drive thru or inside. No one in pharmacy knows what they're doing. They'll spend more time gossiping and then want a lunch read more

It is always horrible to deal with Walgreens!! They do not seem to care at all about the customer. I think I'd rather drive to CVS!!!

I will be changing drug stores as Walgreens on Mesa Ridge Rd Fountain CO has to be one of the slowest pharmacies in the US! They tell you an RX is going to be ready at a certain time to come back tomorrow and it will be ready then go back the next day and it hasn't been filled and it will take at least an hour!!!!!! The staff are slow as sloths and rude to the customers! read more

Your associates are rude. Especially Amanda that works in the pharmacy. I don't understand why you'd choose to work with people if you're only gonna be an asshole to them. read more

I'm actually a doctor providing a review. I've been called by my patient three times because this pharmacy can't read prescriptions write and had to call in and Change scripts three times. This store just keeps getting worse. Granted, the staff is now friendlier than they use to be but the communication is horrible. I ordered custom Christmas cards on the 6th of Dec and on my receipt it stated they would be ready on the 11th. I did not get notification they were ready on the stated day but needed to stop in anyway for something else. I went to pick up my cards and was told the card-stock machine has not worked for 2 months. Now don't you think you would have received a phone call or email message letting you know, or maybe when you placed your order it should say your chosen store cannot provide this service?? What a joke - AGAIN!! read more

Absolutely horrible. Gotta be one of the worst pharmacies in town. Very rude customer service and unprofessional. Also, DO NOT come here and expect your appointment be honored. Had an appointment for a simple flu shot and after 50 minutes of waiting past my appointment, I asked a second time when I was going to be seen only for them to say they hadn't even processed me yet. Go somewhere else and don't waste your time. read more

Went to the pharmacy today to update my insurance. The lady that helped me was unprofessional. She ask me what my refill was and I told her. Then she ask me what dosage it was. I have no idea it's just a preventative med for me. She then proceeds to make me feel bad and told me you don't know your dosage. I'm sure I can find out for you but why do you have to belittle me. I'm definitely finding another pharmacy that has a little more professional attitude and not make the customer feel bad. I work in the healthcare field as well and a lot of folks don't know what time of exam they are getting. I sure don't make them feel bad. read more

We have always experienced long wait times and issues with the pharmacy being closed during regularly posted hours but this is the last time we will use this location. My daughter had surgery yesterday and her pain medication was sent to them. We attempted to pick it up later in the afternoon to allow for processing -- only to find that they were short staffed and the pharmacy is closed all day. The other location filled the other items but can't fill the pain med script because it's a narcotic. How does this help my daughter? Today I call to make sure they're open but they tell me there's an issue with insurance holding it up. The other 3 prescriptions were filled without issue yesterday and we haven't had an insurance change in 10 years. Nope. It was just an excuse and now I'll spend 2 hours in line waiting to pick it up. I'm officially done. read more

The most insane wait times in the drive through. Of all locations I've ever been to. Always spent over an hour in the drive through. cars wrapped around the building. tonight I waited on 45 for one car alone as she said she was " calling and trying to work with insurance. providing updates every 10 minutes" Rather than asking he come in. or return. holding us up until we'll after closing. . not professional. sick people stacked up after 9pm waiting patiently for their medications and this is an all the time thing at this location with time management. lack of professionalism and nothing seems to be getting any better read more

Rudest pharmacist ever took a prescription order over the phone for me for one of our dental patients. Honestly, I don't know why or who peed in her cornflakes but this girl had 100% the nastiest attitude you can imagine. This place sucks so bad. How do they even get away with holding back peoples medication. They tell you it will be ready in a hour and 24 hours later they say that it will be ready in an hour. Came here to get my 5 year old son's prescription filled for some antibiotics. He is on a time prescription so his next scheduled time was for 1pm. Got the walgreens drive through at 12:29. Figured if we wait it will only take 20mins. We pull up and she tells us it will take about 20-30 mins to fill and if we wanted to sign up for the text alerts so we can know when our order is up. Perfect right???? WRONG!!!! We waited till 1:30 and still no text. We finally decided to just pull up and see what was going on. We asked when our order was ready and he said 1pm. We asked why we never received a text. He checked the system and asked to confirm our phone # and behold it was CORRECT! He didn't even apologize and even sent another text to accept the text alerts again. Will def make a drive up further to get better service!! read more

This is probably the rudest and worst pharmacy in the country!!!! The pharmacy staff act like the customer is bothering them. There is LACK of customer service. The manager didn't write anything down when I tried to file a formal complaint. He is as useless as the pharmacy. Fire them all and start over fresh. Otherwise they all should be put through customer service re-education again!!!!!! Soon I shall transfer my prescriptions to cvs if something doesn't change!!!!! read more

If a prescription is out of stock you will not receive it until about 4 days later. I turned in a prescription on Thursday early afternoon and the prescription was not in stock. They assured me that it would be coming the next day which would be a Friday. Friday comes around and prescription did not come on delivery truck. They did not inform me that they do not get deliveries on the weekends. Called to see when delivery truck was going to be there on Saturday and was informed that they do not get deliveries on the weekends. If I would have known this Friday I would have had my doctor write me a new prescription so I can take it to a different Walgreens and get it filled but they did not. read more

We have just moved to the area, from Florida. I had just seen my first local physician and had gone to pick up the prescription I'd been ordered. The store was not hard to locate, my google maps brought me right there, no trouble. Walking into the store, with my son, I felt safe in the parking lot, it was clean, well lit(it was daytime anyways.) The store was clean, smelled nice, employees smiling, greeting us at the door with a welcomed "hello." We moseyed on down to the pharmacy where we waited a few minutes, and were helped, and on our way. The staff was friendly and we ended up buying some stuffed animals at the cashiers checkout. Will definitely be back. This is our preferred choice in Fountain. I enjoyed how the pharmacist called me to let me know my order was ready, and called afterwards to see how I was doing on the medication, and im glad she did. We ended up putting it on the allergy list. read more
