9-17-19 The pharmacy has been horrible lately. There are a lot of new people. They always say the…read moredon't have your medicine they need to order it next day. When you come back your prescription still isn't ready. Today they told me to come back at 7pm it was 3pm. When I returned they said don't have your insurance info and medicine needs to be ordered next day. I asked if they could find me another CVS that had the medicine and the pharmacist told me she didn't have time for that. No consideration for sick people. The medicine was for the breathing machine. The assistant saw how upset I was and she tried to help me and forced the pharmacist to look up the info. Never will I ever get a prescription here again and I'm looking to report that pharmacist as well!!!! Luckily I made this one.

They all look the same so nothing new. Pharmacy is all the way in the back like all of them... Look for the clearance table by the front register. After Halloween, thanksgiving, summer and Christmas. They price drop all there merch thats out of season to up to 90% off and I always stock up on holiday sruff for next Christmas when their items hit clearance. The cashiers are nice here. So that's why I'm giving it 2 stars. The liquor is always stocked too.

Literally been going to this specific pharmacy for a yr because it's 4 mins from my house but at this point I'd rather drive to Grosse Pointe. Twice I received a text message saying that my prescriptions were "ready for pick up" and twice they couldn't find it and told me to come back tomorrow because "the system sends out automatic messages even when the order isn't filled". I think the pharmacy staff is lazy and hate their jobs and blaming their faults on the automated service is just another way to get rid of the customer. I have to ask for a manager damn near every time I go pick up a prescription.

I stopped in today to pick up some photos and a prescription for a family member. There was two women at the checkout in the front. Both were too busy in their conversation to really acknowledge the two people standing in front of them. Awesome. Eventually we did get our photos. The real problem here is the pharmacy. I understand we went in after lunch and the day of a holiday. However, there was no one in the pharmacy that seemed to enjoy their job. Maybe they were short staffed, I understand. That doesn't mean it's okay be rude to the patients. The pharmacist even told me she was still drunk! At this point I was questioning if it was from NYE the day before or their lunch break that just ended. She couldn't talk without slurring her words. Also let's discuss their "immunization corner." I surely hope no child tries to put their hand in the Sharps container or go through the vaccine supplies.

This was all the case prior to Rite-Aids departure. In typical fashion corporate planning to head the onslaught of business has been nonexistent. Getting an R/x filled and picked up requires mind blowing expenditure of time on the customer. The staff is overwhelmed and this has been the case for ever, but little is done to address it! Avoid CVS at all if possible as the corporation just scoops profits and is blind to anything else. Kinda reminiscent of the Biden administration. Hmmm!

This is my local WalG's and like all others it's layout and products are the same. I think what sets all the WalG's apart are the employees. This particular location has had the same base staff for quite sometime and it's nice to see familiar faces and ones that are actually pleasant and smile back. The last trip I took to WalG's left me with $100 less but bags full of great things I don't need and stocking stuffers.
