I really don't shop at Walgreens anymore since they closed the one near me in Oak Park, MI. But, when they were open, I did shop there frequently. Can't think of anything bad about shopping there, though. For the most part, pretty good experience shopping there. read more

Reviewing for the pharmacy only. I wish I got the name of everyone working today - they were all so amazing (whoever the employees were at around 9:00 pm on Nov 13, both male). They were so busy but got me what I needed within half an hour. I'm in between insurances and was unsure what I had, but the pharmacist helped me figure that out and was so accommodating. The best part was that he didn't make me feel rushed or like I was bothering him at all; he really listened and tried to help. I had tons of questions, which normally makes me anxious, but he was so calm and sweet in answering them. The other pharmacist didn't help me, but I heard him doing drive through orders while I was there and also was impressed with how friendly he was. Half of the time at other places, I feel like the pharmacist is stressed and that I'm bothering them. This place was not like that at all! read more

Absolutely terrible!! Short staffed and poor customer service in these two photos are the Pharmacy personnel and they treated me like absolute trash. Made me wait extra just cause they wanted to. my daughter is suffering at home and these two made me wait just to play games and flirt with each other. Do not go here! pharmacy is a joke!! Earlier today, our Urgent Care sent a prescription to the Walgreens on file (note: not this S Telegraph Rd location). But unbeknownst to all, their pharmacy is closed on Sundays. I called the Urgent Care back, explained the location was closed, and recommended a nearby non-Walgreens Pharmacy that was still open at the time. However, upon visiting that particular Pharmacy, they said they couldn't release the prescription. They explained that despite the Walgreens in question being closed, their system had apparently already billed my Health Insurance Company. I wasn't sure what to do, so I called *this* Walgreens (S Telegraph Rd) because they are open 24/7. I explained to the receptionist and then a Pharmacist the exact situation above. The Pharmacist said he understood, that they'd be able to transfer the prescription from the closed location to their location, and the prescription would be ready in a couple hours. In case you couldn't figure out why I'm writing this, spoiler alert: it was not. Concerned that no notification had come through about the prescription, I called the S Telegraph Rd again. I talked a different receptionist and different Pharmacist, and they had a completely opposite response as the previous Pharmacist. They explained that they could not fill the order until next week because it had already been filled today. When I explained to them it had not, and re-explained the needlessly long history of this issue, they said my only option was to buy the prescription outright, and then get a refund later once I get this insurance fiasco all straightened out. Oh yeah... based on how smoothly this situation is going, I'm SURE I would have no problems getting the difference back. So yeah, I'm pissed. It would be one thing if the initial (S Telegraph Rd) Pharmacist told me I was screwed and had to deal with the initial Walgreens location tomorrow. But to assure me everything was right, give me a pick up time, and then to not end up with the medicine is frustrating. Honestly, it's possible the first Pharmacist did in fact know what they were talking about, and the second Pharmacist I talked to hours later was clueless. But guess what? I'm not here to play detective; I just want my ear medicine. That's right, this whole thing was over ear medicine, not a controlled substance (which is part of the reason why the first Pharmacist assured me the prescription could be transferred). I don't care who was right and who was wrong, I just want my prescription. So, enjoy the 1-star review Walgreens. You really earned it, considering I didn't even have to walk into the store to write up this stellar review. Though, I seriously doubt anyone at the company will care. read more

I was shortened around 20 pills. Ran out of my SEIZURE medication. They acted like it was whatever and didn't care didn't even try to help. I had to call my insurance to help called the pharmacy to fill my meds said it would take a 90 min I go to work my mom goes to pick it up they tell her they don't see the transcript. And then acted like my mom was de lulu so it was late at night had to wait till the morning to call my doctors I have no meds at this point and then I call the pharmacy again and they see the transcript said 90 min still I call back to see if it's ready and they say we couldn't refill it due to insurance soooo why didn't you call me?? 10/10 would not recommend this location and I will always count my pills at the front desk now. I really only come here for prescriptions and that's because it's close to my house and it's not CVS. I find that the people working behind the counter are rushed and short in their communication with me. Not a whole lot of "Hellos" and "Thank Yous" are heard at the pharmacy. It probably has to do with the fact that it's the busiest Walgreens in the area. Seeing a pharmacist is rare here. There are usually only a couple pharmacy techs when I've visited, so if you have questions for the pharmacist, expect a delay. read more

Probably one of the worst pharmacies I've ever been to. They are very slow. Never give you cheaper options if a prescription is $100+. Drive thru or walk in both extremely slow. The store it's self isn't bad the customer service is so so but I refuse to pick up prescriptions here. All the tech just talk to each other, no sense of urgency in getting customers their prescriptions. read more

I had a prescription filled here and apparently they can not count to 60. I ran out and when I called them about it they had excuse after excuse. I hate taking pills of any kind but the pain is unbearable so no choice in the matter. I would not suggest anyone going here since they can not count. Now I have to do without my meds (NON NAROCOTIC) until the regular refill time. Apparently they hire pill sellers or pill heads to fill prescriptions there. Will never go back. read more

I've never been to a Walgreens before for my prescriptions, I normally go to CVS but due to the pharmacy being closed I had to go to this Walgreens location. I've never been to such a unorganized pharmacy. I sat there waiting for my prescription for about an hour and a half. Every time I asked how long until my prescription will be ready, they'd say just a couple minutes. Turns out the prescription had been sent over but they never made it until I called my doctor several different times about them not having the prescription. Most awful pharmacy experience I've ever experienced. read more

Needed a 24 hour pharmacy. It wasn't close, but they had me in and out with 2 prescriptions at 10 pm on a Friday night. The pharmacy staff was very friendly and efficient. They really came through. This took less than 10 minutes. read more

TLDR - If you're looking for Adderall, they have it here. Despite filling multiple prescriptions monthly for many years, pharmacy manager Mary Hammoud decided to not accept my Adderall prescription because she didn't like how far away my psychiatrist's address was. Nevermind that it was the same prescription for the same dosage from the same doctor that I had filled every month for 3-4 years, nor the fact that I had other prescriptions from the same doctor that apparently were okay to fill. The store manager, Matthew Everett, was completely unsympathetic and also refused to give me the district manager's name (a phone call to corporate revealed it was Jennifer Baisch). Jennifer Baisch also never returned my phone calls. I asked Mary Hammoud to check my prescription history to show this was a legit prescription; she refused. I asked Mary Hammoud to call my doctor to verify everything was correct; she refused. My doctor's receptionist called Mary Hammoud in an attempt to speak with her; Mary Hammoud refused to talk to her. Matthew Everett told me a line about a "Good Faith Policy" that they had just began, but a simple Google search will show that Walgreens implemented said policy back in 2014 - long before I started going there. Me explaining that the reason I drove nearly 20 miles round trip every month for my medication was because when I originally started going there, it was down the street from where I worked meant nothing to them. Somehow this is the only location that keeps the Teva brand generic instant release 20mg Adderall in stock and that is pretty suspicious to me, since everyone else says it's on back order and they can't get it. But I was getting it from this Walgreens for years, so if you're looking for 20mg Adderall go hit up Mary Hammoud and tell her I sent you. If she tells you it's not in stock, she's lying to you. I can only imagine what government entities the management at this store is also lying to in order to hoard a Schedule II narcotic that no one else seems to be able to gain access to. read more

This is the absolute worst Wal Greens you can go to. The Pharmacy customer service is absolutely horrible. They are ALL very unfriendly. It doesn't matter if you go in the morning or night time, they all have sucky attitudes. If you receive a text that there is an issue with your insurance and they ask you to call, you will sit on hold for 30, 40, 50 mins. They answer and say plz hold before you can get a word in. Then after 5 mins the phone rings again, then they put you back into the que. I highly recommend going to another Pharmacy if you're able to. Unfortunately I'm stuck having to deal with this pharmacy because they are the only ones that has the meds I need each month. I'm so unhappy with them. Not to mention they treat you like an addict if you are prescribed a controlled substance. Their whole demeanor changes and the white haired woman pharmacist that works afternoons/evening is the worst for this. She will shake her head and say I don't know why your pain management Dr prescribes this poison to you. She is horrible! I have filled several complaints against her and nothing is done about her and her belittling opinions. read more

The pharmacy always takes too long. I waited 15 minutes just to pick up my prescription on drive thru. It's ridiculous. And those ladies working at the pharmacy are always slow and taking their time.The pharmacist is working on the computer and there's about 6 people waiting to be helped..it's really unbelievable.
