I've noticed that EVERYTHING on shelves with a red discount sticker is not available and i mean everything! walk around and you will not find one thing available with a red tag. Makes me think it's shady and misleading. I've went every morning to see if that changed but it hasn't. Some things are priced at a certain amount and when you get to counter it's a different price. This is a run of the mill Walgreens with nothing particularly outstanding about it, but also nothing particularly bad. The pharmacy area can be a little slow at times, right at the end of the work day. They usually have things in stock and the aisles are almost always well organized, and clean. Sometimes there's a random pile of boxes or carts with inventory just sort of there, as if an employee just left them in an aisle and then got distracted and went and did something else. I get the sense that they don't have a lot of staff. The staff are friendly though, and I don't really have any complaints or bad experiences. I just haven't had any outstandingly good experiences here. And usually when I'm running into Walgreens, it's for a snack or a drink in addition to something from the pharmacy and their prices are still kind of high. read more

Nice self standing Walgreens in Dania Beach. The store was very clean, organized and bright when I visited. I had some coupons for paper goods, so I got a good deal on them. Here you can get national brands or their own private label Walgreens brand. The tissues of the Walgreens brands are not as soft as the national brand but they are a better deal. If you are just using them as a disposal tissue, no big deal...if you have a cold and need to have a soft texture rubbing your nose, them maybe the national brand would be a better choice. I wasn't really super impressed with this Walgreens. It was fine at the basics but the prices were insane! Some Neutrogena sunscreen inside that is usually around $10 was over $20. I was able to purchase it at Ulta in Dania Point shopping complex for the standard price. If you're trying to get a prescription it's fine but it's by no means the place to snag a deal if you're looking for some forgotten essentials while in FL. read more

I transferred all my medical prescriptions and my wives over a year ago from the biggest competitor as they just couldn't handle the volume no because of good employees but lack of enough. Well within 1 year Walgreens that did such a good job answering questions, filling prescriptions, communicating fell into the same trap as CVS. They simply don't hire enough people for the growing local demand. After being told a prescription was coming in the next day 4 days in a row one of the pharmacists got mad saying I call too much. I reminded her I ran out of medication and only called because they told me each day to check if it came in. I transferred over 10 medications to a small independent pharmacy that truly appreciates the business and is staffed for volume. No wonder both Walgreens and CVS are closing hundreds of stores... basics of customer service just aren't in the dna. After reading good to great you would think they know how to operate? I like this Walgreens because it is open even on holidays and what more can I ask for 24-7. I am glad that you can collect the meds from both lanes and that I can also avoid the peak times. I have had the covid test done here and it's been hassle-free. The staff has been super nice to me so no complaints from me. read more

7-28-22 6pm Appointment for Covid Booster My hubby and I had appointments here to get our booster shots so we can travel Internationally. It was the 4th for me and third for hubby but first time here. The location has a great parking lot out front so easy peasy to park and come right in close to the door. Once inside we waited and they took our vaccination cards. The pharmacist was very pleasant and took both me and my hubby together. Very quick and by now not really painful at all. So glad we made an appointment here. If in the future we have any pharmacy needs we will definitely consider coming back. read more

Is this a 5-Star place? No, but they were clean, large and easy parking. The staff was very nice. The coolers now show what is in the coolers by a video screen...so that was a cool little upgrade. Many other Walgreens are torn up, but I found this one to look pretty good. read more

This Walgreens really needs to step up to improve their customer service and long waited at the pharmacy to get simple immunizations by appointment because they are so short staffed. Their pharmacy staff is very nice and polite but way understaffed to support the large volume of folks who need help. They wait on everyone else walk ups, drive through, etc. while leaving you sitting and waiting watching them serve all of the other customers coming in. I'm not sure why they like you to set up appointments when no one gives you precedence for setting one up. Today two of us waited for over an hour when we arrived 15 minutes early for our appointment as requested. We were the only folks there with an appointment for immunizations. The last time I waited over an 1 1/2 almost 2 hours to receive one immunization with a several folks in front of me. The problem is no one is taking care of the folks with appointments in a timely manner and allowing everyone who walks up to take precedence. I don't recommend this store unless you have unlimited time to watch while everyone else is accommodated before they can stick an immunization in your arm. This particular pharmacy runs like they handle every prescription in Broward. You will instantly get put on hold and there's a 50% chance they will hang up on you. You call and your prescription is never under your phone number so if you want any information you have to deal with service so poor, it's actually impressive. Negative 5 stars. read more

Worst service and poor customer treatment. I stopped by this store to purchase some Coppertone suntan lotion. The plastic bottles of SPF-15 protection were located in a carousel containing similar-sized bottles of SPF-8 through 15 priced at $11.29. When I went to the counter to check out, the amount displayed $27.99. I told that cashier that this was a mistake. She said "No it isn't, so I had one of the associates scan the product. It still displayed $27.99, so I took the associate over to the carousel to show them the $11.29 price tag. The cashier then said that the $11.29 price was for the SPF15 and not the SPF 8, but the signage on the carousel did not display the higher price. Secondly, Coppertone is one of the cheapest suntan lotions around and is never EVER that expensive. The cashier still did not honor the $11.29 price tag, so I left the bottle on the counter and walked out. I went down the street to Publix and purchased the same sized Coppertone SPF product for $11.29. From now on, I will shop elsewhere for my prescription, health and personal care products. if you are a service dog handler do not go to this location as i was there yesterday and my service dog was tasking and just today the manager wanted to talk to my mom to tell her about what happened (by the way i am 20) and this was without my knowledge and the manager wanted paperwork as there is no form of paperwork for service animals in the US or any certification especially for owner trained service animals i was very disappointed in learning about this this morning when my mom told me hopefully the manager learns and for the time being i will not go to this location as it was the most convienent i will just bring my buisness some where else for now please take this into consideration and do your research and look up the ADA regulations and laws thank you read more

On the first Tuesday of every month Walgreens offers Senior Citizen Day which discounts full price items. More than once I didn't get the senior discount on my items despite telling the person at the register it was Senior Day. The last time the checker didn't understand what I was talking about, just looked at the slip & said yes, yes. This brand new Walgreens is conveniently located in a parking lot next to the hotel, Sleep Inn. They have plenty of parking and it is a safe, short distance to walk from the hotel. I was thrilled to be able to walk over and get a few necessities and discovered they carry fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts for $3.99 for a half dozen. This location carries beer but no wine. They have a nice selection of food and drink choices. As usual, you can also get any usual drug store finds at this location. The staff were friendly and helpful. This Walgreens Pharmacy is having major issues as of late. It seems there's a whole new staff and they're extremely incompetent or really don't care about their jobs. I've been trying to get a prescription filled for 2 days. Tried to call on day 1, waited on hold for 32 minutes and the auto dialer finally hung up on me SO I went there and waited in the drive through for 15 minutes. When I got to the front, was told my prescription wasn't ready... there were literally 3 people working in the back. How the heck is the wait so long!! Today same exact story. Tried to call was put on hold 3 times before I finally got hold of someone. Went to pick up my prescription at 11am on a Thursday and there were 4 cars in line. I just left without it and will try again later. There should never be that many people waiting in line at this time of day!!! I will probably be going somewhere else from now on. This new staff is super slow and they're also totally rude. It's not worth doing business here. Corporate needs to pay this store a visit and whip these people into shape. read more

This is the drug store near my office and they are always available for my needs the manager always prompts you at the door or the cashier which makes it friendly. They also have a liquor store which makes it convenient for the client and not having to stop by the supermarket they have a lot of things inside the store that avoids us going to any other place to shop around. read more

I drove 15 mintutes to this Walgreens cause it was the only 24 hour Walgreens in the area. As I am approaching the entrance, I am greeted by two men outside the doors saying "Walgreens is closed,waxing floors". Ummmm okay . Makes no sense being a 24 hour Walgreens. So I tell them that I just need some medicine for my daughter cause she is running a fever. And he said there was nothing he could do. It was almost 1am in the morning and couldn't understand how you are a 24 hour store and not allow me to just buy some medicine for my child. So ridiculous.
