i worked in one of the departments at this store recently, which i mention so as to mitigate bias…read morein the review to best of my ability. food - my mom bought and picked up a $5 fried fish friday meal from the grocery store deli department for me. this plate is served with two sides along with a roll or cornbread, and i got fried potato wedges and macandcheese with a roll. there are other options offered for the $5 friday deal, including fried chicken pieces i have tried a la carte before, though i got the fish to be able to put together a pre-lenten fish sandwich. that leads me to my one critique of the meal which is that the type of fish is not specified, though my best guess for which variety is catfish based off appearance or cod based off taste. regardless, the fish had a good, not very fishy taste, and both sides and the sandwich i pieced together had a good taste also, with the potato wedges being nicely crisped, and the macandcheese adding a smooth, creamy contrast in the meal. lastly, i'll take this opportunity to describe the off-brand dr. p I mentioned in my most recent review, which is a similarly tasting drink called dr. blast and is a product of reasor's corporate managing partner, though i prefer the name of the off-brand variety dr. thunder. service - my mother mentioned that the woman working the counter was the same employee who mistakenly placed all bagged tamales at a display on the floor after my mom asked if there was any of this product available. nonetheless, such a faupaux is more than redeemed by my estimation through the fresh, quality fish and side dishes, which i believe all workers in the deli section share responsibility and credit for maintaining. ambiance - although my mom picked up the plate to-go, and the styrofoam container the meal is served make it conducive for take-out dining, there is a relatively spacious indoor seating area available, that has booths, tables, and window views of the surrounding shopping center and east side of the tulsa fairgrounds.

This is the sloppiest, laziest work I've ever seen from a store's bakery. I'm genuinely appalled.
