This store continues to disappoint every time. I'm a loyal customer of Walgreens, but this store has management and staff training issues. I have never encountered this level of consistent poor customer service. Just today after making an appointment for a vaccine online using Walgreens online appointment tool, I arrived on time for my appointment but I was told first their records didn't show my appointment, and then the story changed to "we don't really take appointments". I told them I had an appointment confirmation number specifying the time, the place (this store) and all my contact information. To no avail, I wasted one hour, and left the store unable to get the vaccine. Even if you are a loyal customer of Walgreens, you might want to skip their store in Belfast. You'll be better going to another pharmacy in the area. read more

I would like to give the pharmacy at this store zero stars. I am finished giving them any further chances - I am not sure why it's taken me so long! Scheduled an appointment online for a flu shot there at 9 am today. Dutifully completed their extensive forms and showed up to the typical long line to get to the pharmacy, with no separate place to check in for a vaccine other than the same line as picking up prescriptions. The pharmacist who was doing vaccinations walked by at one point and I asked whether there was any mechanism for honoring appointments. When she said, "no, we don't really take appointments and I have 10 walk-ins waiting for shots" it told me all I needed to know. Why allow people to make appointments you just ignore???? I walked out and across the street to Belfast Drug Company, where I had my shot from a friendly pharmacist and was out in less than 10 minutes. So disappointed they have such a Very poor photo printer. I don't like Rite Aid much more but they have a much cleaner print process and their 4x6 prints are Even cheaper. Go here for cheapest Belfast Bay Red Lobster beer in town or Belfast Lions apparel though! read more

Have been trying for three days to get a real live person at this store to answer a question if they do or do not have a medication I need. I do not wish to travel that distance for nothing (I am old so it is a struggle to get around). The next closest Walgreen did not have it. I have called at least 4 times, every time I get a recorded please hold message, have been on hold over an hour each time and have yet to reach a real live person, I called during regular business hours. It would be more courteous if the customer got a busy signal or a message saying they are not accepting calls. Fortunately I found a major supermarket pharmacy that had what I need so I won't waste my time with Walgreen any more.. read more

I had thee worst customer experience ever in my life! I've worked in retail many years and I was kicked out by the night time manager for no reason! I walked in with one of my girlfriends to grab a box of wine for the night. She needed a ginger ale so she was at the coolers. I go up to go pay for my wine, and I hand my id to the cashier and the manager comes up and tells me my friend needs her id as well. I said okay she's grabbing something from the coolers. He starts going on about how she was a minor and I was purchasing it for her and I needed to go put it back. Of course I did. (Because I don't cause trouble for people behind a counter) because I know what it's like. My girlfriend comes back from the cooler with a ginger ale and a twisted tea to purchase with her id (because she's 21) I turned around and asked the manager if I was still able to purchase my wine because she's showing her id and wanting to purchase a beer. He then told me to "put the shit down and get out of my store, I'm done with you!" And proceeded to get on his phone to call whoever.. as I calmly walked out the store because I did NOTHING wrong. I'm shaking so bad because I was treated so poorly. I would never do that to anyone ever! I'm a rewards customer and have all my prescriptions sent there because they've always been good with to me.
