I just moved here from NY and Walgreens has always been difficult to do business with because of their hours of operation. I thought I would give it a try here in FL. I just don't like Walgreens. The people that work at this location are moody, alot of eyerolling and bad attitudes. Very slow. Not concerned about going the extra mile to help you. Very put out. I am changing to Walmart in bartow. I spoke with the pharmacist Roger there and he is so overly helpful. It felt nice to talk to someone who cared about my situation. . read more

Pharmacy drive thru line does not move! It takes at least 10 minutes per car. I just waited in line for 45 minutes! I was afraid going in would be longer after committing to 20 minutes in line. If you don't want to wait forever go elsewhere. read more

We came through FOUR times today for 2 of my moms RX.. each time "wasn't ready it will be done in X amount of time".. okay no problem the last time we came through they FINALLY filled the first one and told us the second would be ready in an hour, so we came back LIKE THEY TOLD us to and they said it couldn't be filled. (Thanks for the wasted TripS) so my mom called up there to see why since she wasn't there to make sure it wasn't an insurance problem or something.. They guy on the phone automatically started shooting accusations at her that she's some drug addict and harassing them etc when she was simply asking WHY it couldn't be refilled when THEY told us to come back for it....REPEATEDLY...my mom has arthritis in her neck, she was Prescribed this medication YOU told us would be filled today. Absolutely rude and crappy customer service, you don't speak to people esp an old woman like that! Esp when it's YOUR fault we even had to come back multiple times in the first place. LIKE WE WERE TOLD TO DO by your staff. read more

Here's a good one: Check your prescription before you leave the store . . . Doctor called in the wrong prescription . . . Paid for it and left the store . . . Returned it after noticing and told it was their policy not to give refunds . . . Was also told by the Walgreen Pharmacist, CVS had the same policy, so there is no way you can have recourse (ie, taking business elsewhere) . . . Out hard earned bucks . . . Pharmacies cannot be punished (business taken elsewhere) . . . It is time for some major Health Care Reform . . . read more
